Pages (3): « 1 2 [3]
timeslots PLEASE, i leave tomorrow morning and i want some info before i leave. it would be greatly appreciated, THANKS!
I really want to go to this... this is the sickest line-up yet @ Nikki Beach !
Does anyone know if there will be re-entry at nikki beach? surely they dont expect us to be there all day and all night without taking a break somewhere in between.
OMFG I couldnt go yesterday to WG, I hate being 16 arg. J/K but it sucks that you have to be 21+
don't feel bad. i thought wetgrooves was going to be one of the better parties this year. they completely disapoointed me. at albion they got "heat from the heat" WEAK! get your permits in line and get that shit taken care of. glaude being told to turn it down is not a very good idea. very weak effort IMO. and then at nikki beach the same thing. why didn't the outside stay open longer? by like 6 the music was only playing inside and you couldn't hear it at all unless you were in there. which was impossible with the amount of people. they should have at least pumped the music to the outside speakers. compared to last years wetgrooves this one was terrible. last year it was the best party. this year-the worst party. and i'm bummed i even went.
There was a problem literally EVERYWHERE!
Yea I remember it rained either on Friday or Thursday. Pluz it got cold so it wasnt any where close for a day at the pool or beach.
I thought the bad weather was going to affect Ultra aswell but just the cold temperatures did.
Mother Nature was not on our side this WMC lol
well contrary to moyn who constantly whines about everything (must be a horrible way to go through life), both wet grooves parties were a huge hit again this year.
it rained on thursdays wet grooves pool party but did not effect the nearly 2000 who turned out to dance thier asses off in the rain. yes we constantly deal with the city and the noise ordinances...they get worse and worse every year. as far as parties go, we get away with a lot because of our established relationship with the city. rest assured that there were no other parties with music blasting louder than ours outside.
there was nothing more surreal than seeing so many edm fans with hands in the air and the rain coming down on the albion rooftop. special shout outs go to eddie halliwell, d:fuse, dan, donald and second sun who made everyone forget about the weather!
now to the wet grooves beach party at nikki beach...simply amazing day and night! 17 hours of music madness. the sun came out and the music played outside at the beach until 6pm when the city fielded one too many complaints about the music. so we moved the show inside where BT along with Above & Beyond leveled the downstairs! If you were lucky enough to make it upstairs, you witnessed one helluva show! Darude, Andy Moor, Deepsky, Cosmic Gate & Infected Mushroom absolutely blew the top off the Pearl Nightclub! we would like to thank the nearly 5000 people who made their way into Nikkie Beach for the wmc opener!
we can tell you that both events were such big hits, that the wet grooves national tour is already being discussed!
be well and party on people! thanks for making both wet grooves 2006 miami events the best at wmc once again!
i had a great time at nikki beach had to leave at eleven pm tho

i heard the same thing, i attended last years at shelbounre and it was absolutely slamming. i didnt attend pool party this year, but had friends who did and, rain notwithstanding, said it wasnt set up as nicely like it was at the shelbounre the year before. more than a few people felt this way. either way the nikki beach party rocked it out!!!!
second sun was awesome at the albion!
