Have to say we were very lucky to get 2-2 draw with Villareal. Their midfield dominated ours second half, far too much room to pick out passes. In the end we had to resort to hoofing it up the park hoping for a Prso knock on. Some bizzare tactics from Mr McLeish, why was Namouchi on for Buffel? Why bring Novo on ahead of the top scoreer in the league this season? Anyways, can't see us getting too much over there, but we have been incredibly jammy in Europe this year so who knows!
Prso's handball was hilarious
It was really dumb, reminds me of Mellberg's handball against Croatia in the WC Qualifier in the end of 2005. Really stupid.
There was a brief few second before the penalty was given, I thought I had imagined it it was so blatant!

I hope Benfica go through no offense to Liverpool but I like Benfica's stadium better...shite reason to support them i know
I'm also supporting Benfica against Liverpool because they've Liverpool's got the better team and they've already won the Champions League, last year, That's enough
I'm also supporting B-egljrgjf

That's a weird team to support
I'm also supporting Benfica because they're portuguese, apart from that they're really shit and it'd be a complete pain in the ass to put up with the neverending party those scumbags would make if they get to win the competiton.
chelsea all the way

Hamburger SV won their game @ Bayern Munich today 2-1 . It was the first loss for Munich in their new arena and their first loss in 19 home games.
Also it was the first win of Hamburg in Munich for 25 years

Arsenal vs Juventus
Barcelona vs Benfica
Ac Milan vs Lyon
Inter/Ajax vs Villareal
is it just me or does the CL quarterfinals look very mediocre this season since so many of the big boys are out
Milan - Lyon will have to be the highlight tie of the quarters for me ... both teams are fantastic in europe... arsenal juve is going to be overshadowed with the vieira's return to highbury and for vieira its probably going to end the way he was used to during his time at highbury - being on the winning team
barca and inter (should they qualify) should have no trouble reaching the semis
