Spitty you can't stay at Pete's b/c that's too far away from me b/c I need to borrow clothes from you and such. So you have to be in close proximity. You're staying at KellyBelly's. Also...Simon and them aren't coming in until REALLY late on Friday...so Pete'll be gone to Ferry with us!

How long does Ferry usually spin until?
Does he close the night?
and what kind of stuff does he spin? All new stuff? Old stuff? Can I expect to hear some fave tracks? Punk, fire, without you, rock your body rock, holding on, indigo...I'm guessing stuff like out of the blue, gouryella, tenshi and what not is out of the question.

After reading this... I'm thinking about going.

What club are they playing at?

Damn NYC, it's so expensive to hit a club there and its not as good as the Toronto scene

Ferry is at Crobar...as mentioned before, NYTA guestlist is comp before midnight. PvD is at Roseland Ballroom...tickets are online for 50US I believe.

I wouldn't say the NYC club scene isn't as good as Toronto's. I love Toronto's club scene...it's amazing. But the one and only time I've partied in NYC for PvD back in Novemeber was awesome. The sound system was great, the set up was awesome, the club itself was amazing, and the ppl...gotta love TAs!

Never been to Crobar but I've heard it's one of the top clubs in NYC. Went to Avalon and the Blank & Jones performance was insane, although I was like one of... what 20 white people in a room full of asians lol... it was amazing though. As for the crowd itself, not the same vibe as t.dot.

I've been seriously considering going... wanna ask a few of my buddies. Oh man! Shopping on 5th Ave is the greatest, plus the Versace store just opened up there a few weeks ago. Would love to grab some shit off them

yeah the building is an old church...its pretty cool..used to be called limelight til like...2000 or something

Toronto has a better lighting system, period! That is the one thing I miss.....the clubs in NYC have like no lasers or lights, i hate it!

I heard that for PVD they are putting in a huge lighting system though, so I am pretty excited about that!!

but the scene in New York is essentially the same: usually an amazing crowd, with good people.....but once in a while you get stuck with a HUGE cracked-out-asian or muscle-head-guido scene.

im driving down for the weekend as well ...my last party in the states for a while it seems now that ive gradauted and will be heading home...hope to meet some of u there... i know im going all out for this one

Chris (endlesswave) and I plan to rent a car and drive down on the Friday. Chris doesn't get off work until 3pm, so we will be arriving in NYC quite late.

Unfortunately Lucas had to bow out due to some personal issues, and DC Star also can't come due to work commitments. This leaves two more spot free if anyone is interested...

The car rental should be about $220 total. It would be cheaper, but unfortunately they charge an extra $25/day for drivers under the age of 25. Anyone 25 or older and wana come with and drive?

Assuming fuel costs a MAX of $1/liter, estimated cost round trip is around $150.

Cost of the rental and fuel would be divided by the number of people in the car.

As for accommodations, it can be done on-the-cheap if you stay at a hostel. Prices are around $30-$35/night (see: http://www.hostelworld.com/). Would be even cheaper if there are any NYTAs willing to put us up.
