Jenn told me for DV they dont' sell out as fast as Sensation.

This year Sensation white was sold out in 2 hours!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll wake up tomoro and they will still be for sale. After all there are 60,000 of them!!!! That's quite a few!!

p.s. Jenn i'll come visit you in Amsterdam every opportunity i get (that will be every summer )

Posted by magikb on Mar-23-2006 06:42:

they don't sell out that fast at all.. I am just being a freak and wanting to get this trip finalized so I don't have to worry about anything more but just wait for July

here is me at the mainstage in 2004 for Ferry Corsten
I have pics of left and right infront and behind me.. there is also 1 other outdoor stage and 10 tents besides just this spot where these pics were taken

this is what you guys have to look forward to who are attending for the first time

Are you going for all 3 days? and are you camping there or leaving for the night? b/c ive heard of people doing both, how late into the night does the music play? (im sorry its a lot of questions, its just that these are things you can only find out from someone who's been there )

Oh and feel free to post some more pics, it looks awesome!

you can either buy a ticket to camp for the whole weekend or you can buy a ticket for just Saturday. don't know you told you what, but once you are in the campgrounds on Friday, you are not allowed to leave and come back.. you have to camp there overnight if you want to see Saturday too. The music starts at 10am and goes until about 11:30pm (due to noise restrictions) but they have a part for the campers where they have a silent disco, cafes, tent open where they serve alcohol all night long, plus many other things for us campers. They have showers for us to use as well as flush toilets instead of port-a-potties like everyone else. They have lockers for you to store valubles in (although I kept all my stuff in the tent last year and didn't have a problem..clothes, towels and such only)

and yes, I will be camping for the whole weekend
last year it rained and I was covered in mud and had wet feet all weekend long, in 2004 (in the pics) it was beautiful.. but I wouldn't trade in last year for anything. And even if it rains this year.. I will be prepared for it and bring boots for the mud. It is really all about the experience. I had the time of my life and I HATE camping

Well the friend that told me he leaves for the night is someone who got in VIP last year, so maybe that's why he had the priveledge. It sounds amazing though, im assuming the night is full of bonfires, crazy adventures, tent parties lol etc... do you have any more pics you can post? I looooove pics! You get a better persepctive of the experience that way than by just looking at the websites.

Posted by magikb on Mar-23-2006 18:07:

yeah VIP would probably be the reason they were allowed to leave and come back.. there will be no 5-star hotels that weekend. LOL

as for the pics...I uploaded them to shutterfly.. so this is from 2004:
http://share.shutterfly.com/action/...Vq2cMco¬ag=1

and these from 2005:
http://share.shutterfly.com/action/...Vq2cMcK¬ag=1

I cannot wait for this year... It is gonna be so much fun. And yes, I have officially purchased my ticket for the weekend along with Haris, Marty and my friend Phil. I just pray the weather is nice and sunny for that weekend, but afterall it is Holland... you just never know!

Vlady, did you have any luck this morning???
I really think you should come for the weekend.. that would be the bomb

Tatgirl also did this same party back in 2002 and 2003 I believe.. she probably has some good pics as well to contribute if we can get her to post them

I didn't say that btw I only went saturday. It's true you're not allowed to leave, except when you manage to get VIP or smth for both days. And indeed tickets don't sell out that fast... maybe the weekend ones... Last tickets are usually sold about a week before, when ppl know how the weather will be... Especially since the DV drama in (2000/2001?)

we will be all over the place.. although last year I was some of the NLTA's front and centre in the Reniassance tent the whole time.
Lots of AMAZING friends I have met just through going to DV.

Anyhow, as I was told no meetups cuz all the NLTA's know each other already.. hahaha.. so I just got phojortie (sp?) to introduce me to everyone last year. But will definitely keep things updated on what our plans are once dj's are announced on our plans. Hopefully we will meet up there!

I need to be hooked up with this VIP so I can stay in a 5-star instead of a tent.. LOL
Emre and I last year said never again.. and that it would be 5-star this year.. but here I am..doing it all over again

yeah that is who I mean.. Jasper is just easier for me

Were you front and centre with David(Emre), Tim81, Onno(partyhardy), Lex, Rob and Dennis (jasper's friend) at all? Cuz if you were I bet we met and just don't know it

Posted by eieregooie on Mar-24-2006 01:20:

I remember Lex and Onno and some more ppl, but I was only there for about half an hour I think... I prefer the open air stages

I won't disagree with you.. just the weather was pretty shite this past year for me to want to spend too much time outside. But 2004, yeah mainstage is where I was certainly at.. (with Jasper and Dennis of course)

Hehe, saturday wasn't that bad Just muddy

Posted by Truepioneer on Mar-24-2006 05:02:

Eurogrooves tent was where the best trance was last year. Plus it was sheltered and had a wooden floor to proctect from the wetness of that year

Meets-ups aren't even necessary fate will allow you to bump into all those old friends at festivals like this. Plus, meet loads of new ones

no, you are right it wasn't that bad... but by the end of it with only having 1 pair of shoes for the whole weekend, I wasn't really wanting to walk very far.. hahahah
My feet were cold, wet and muddy

And besides, I had to be close enough to Preach's tent to make the mad dash when he was about to start

I went into the Eurogrooves tent for about 10 min while Eddie Haliwell was playing. Walked up to the front.. took about 4 pics and walked right back out. Trance just wasn't doing it for me...especially not after listening to progressive and techno all day either..

No HQ stage wtf???

I assume the hard stage is replacing it I hope.

Has anyone heard the Prodigy in concept lately? Isn't Liam no longer in the band?
