Sensation goes on tour!!
got 2 tickets for sensation white 1st July FOR SALE
cost $270 for both, $140 for one.
mail me: p3kk3r at gmail dot com
Last year's line-up was definitely better, I can't imagine anything ever trumping it.
am I the only one that thinks sensation white looks kinda corny? When I first saw a teaser promo video a year ago, it looked like the greatest epic event ever, what with all the costumed performers and just the sheer massive size of the gig. But then I saw a 1hr video of it. There's this godlike voice, that announces chapters and verses "first chapter, second verse" and introduces the next dj like a character on lord of the rings or something. He sounds like the movie preview guy that you hear in all the movie previews/commercials. Anyway it just seems like they're pushing the "EPIC EPIC EPIC!, LEGENDARY!, COLLOSAL!" gimmick too much and they're wearing it out.
stevsto, that was 2 or 3 years ago sensation. check out Sensation White 2005 DVD, and watch a megamix. it is off the hook!. last year, ID-T hired this company "visual jockies" (or something like that..can't spell) to do the visual effects. in my opinion it was the best "visual effects show" comparing to previous years. definitly beyond my imagination..
along with a nice line-up, Armin, Marco V....
ps. anyone thats been to last years edition want to comment ?
Last year was pretty ok
jp u're going to ferry album release party in may @ HMH ?
this sux....i have my tickets already for a while and i HATE waiting..damn it....why must it feel like forever. why can't my dream just come true already
patience is a virtue
good things come to those who wait
your dream will come true when u'll enter the Arena for the first time on July 1st, 2006.
we should organize z meet-up with all TA's in from of the arena
yeah a meet up is a must...i definately want to meet some TA's it would be amazing.....JAZDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, a TA meetup would be great! When does Sensation White normally get crowded? I read that last year it was only 1/3 full until late in the evening when more Trance music was playing?
I would even be up for meeting some TA's near Centraal Station and taking the Subway over together to the Arena. I've never been to this area before, and wonder how scary it will be walking alone late at night from the station stop to the Arena? The Sports Arena in LA is not in the best area of the City and I'd never want to walk there! Maybe there's a treintaxi that goes from the station stop to the Arena? Any advice from locals would be appreciated!

Arriving between 22:00 and 23:00hr means waiting in line for at least half an hour
ok, thanks for the info. So exit at the Bijlmer station and follow the people in white (unless they are wearing straightjackets, then follow the other people in white
)
Any idea what time the arena opens? My tickets say "limited lockers available" so would you recommend bringing a coat/umbrella or do the lockers usually fill up right away? There aren't any places here that hold this many people for a dance event, so this is why I have so many questions.
Oh, and sounds like the TA meetup should be inside the arena so we're not waiting outside watching the line grow?

That is a horrible lineup apart from Ferry who is the only one belonging on that list. True Sensation white isn't only about the dj but come on, what is there to enjoy on that list?? I went to Sensation White in Antwerp this w-e and half of it was total crap. Thank god for M.I.K.E. playing an AMAZING set otherwise that might have been the worst party i ever been to

i totally agree with basvh. Sensation is about the show & the whole experience. it is NOT about DJ lineup. This year its pretty weak as in comparison to previous years...
still... its a SENSATION!
Well apart from the fact that I'm unable to attend to Sensation this year (as every year since
) I'm a little bit in awe about that lineup - in a negative sense.
It will be a big party without doubt, but I'm puzzled by the choice of DJs. Ferry and Sander are absolutely ok in my book, but Guetta was already cruelsome last year - had a good start with "The world is mine" but his strange breaks and playing vanilla 80s tunes wasn't exactly my taste.
Although Sensation 2004 wasn't completely House-free it was a good experience on the whole, which is in my book way more important than one or two DJs not being my favorites. If the "vibe" is alright, everything else falls into place.
i love it.

Thanks for all the excellent advice and answers to my questions...so here's another: I bought a white t-shirt from Paul van Dyk's shop that says "Vandit" above the word "BERLIN" with the Vandit logo.
If I wear this shirt at Sensation White, would the Nederlanders throw tomatoes at me for favoring the "highlanders?" I thought it would show my support of Trance and also the upcoming Love Parade (and I don't care if people don't like it because they're more into house, I know what music I love)!
More than one opinion welcome on this, since I know there is no correct answer!
as long as t-shirt is white
