Shaq is in Scary Movie 4.

Its gonna be awesome.

Who else saw the skit where the freaky clown guy from saw goes "the game is not yet over" and then Shaq goes "Kobe?"

haha I also like the scene w/ Dr. Phil when he's like "JUST MAKE THE SHOT" and Shaq bangs the ball off the backboard.

YES!

if anyone hasn't read it yet, please read "the top 10 point guards of all time -- updated version" by bill simmons of espn.com . his comments on steve nash is hillarious. his pluses is his basketball iq. his minuses include not knowing how to play defense. he questions why phoenix would invest in more the $30 million on a guy who doesn't play defense.

yea i read that too, although the big O is not really a point guard

stockton should be in top5. he is a legend, i loved watching him play. such class! (even though he set alot of dirty picks)

... speaking of stockton i loved playing the Jazz in Live99. stockton and hornacek with 80+ 3point ratings, and you can dump the ball to an oepn mailman for an easy bucket...

wow I'm a little surprised the glove made that list, although he probably deserves it, its just the last few years have left a bitter taste

and who is bob cousy?

replace him w/ Rod Strickland

haha yes I kid, when I was little for some reason I thought Rod was the greatest point guard of all time. I still have this poster of "In ROD we trust" that I brought to a bullets game.

you boston phreaks !!

best point guard in the first quarter century of the nba , but shooting almost 40% from the field doesn't really put a big wow in my face . then again, according to reports, average shooting %'s back then were not as good as now . maybe just a tad bit .

i guess the same scenario goes for jason kidd . i think he is by far the best point guard of the last 10 years no doubt. but his shooting percentage is just plain awful. we can't have everything , right ? .

if you think about it, nowadays, the better pure point guards "outside" of jason kidd is not a good list . there are those shooting/point guards, but do teams really look at the strictly point guards ? it's pretty amazing that luke ridnour's name comes up as one of the better point guards . i know he can keep up with the big boys, but is he a name to throw into the mix as the better portion of point guards ?

lol... wow...

you segway from Cousy to Kidd....

you son of a bitch!!!

we could be talking about cousy and kidd in the same sentence if jason kidd had a bill russell on his team. .

kidd's former teammates include :

jim jackson
jamaal mashburn
steve nash
antonio mcdyess
kevin johnson
clifford robinson
penny hardaway
shawn marion
kenyon martin
keith van horne
richard jefferson
vince carter

and the list goes on ..........

not exactly bill russell, kc jones, john havlicek, and etc .... you can do the math .

oh I agree, and he had all the pot problems as well. I think I started following him b/c I had one of his basketball cards.

is Bill Walton announcing? cause if he is I won't enjoy it.

I'd give the MVP award to Nash.. The guy has been great this year without Amare. Billups deserves consideration too.

He would get my vote hands down....
To keep Phoenix on top of the Pacific WITHOUT their BEST scorer is phenomenal

i think Lebron is gaining alot of support as of late for mvp considerations.

the guy is a statistical beast avergaing 38/7/7, shooting 55%.. and most of all his team is winning (90% in last few weeks)

i have his shoes!

i agree. over the past couple of weeks, lebron has been a monster . and to top it off, lebron's "teammates" are a bit of "lower notch quality" than nash's "teammates" . at least nash has marion, boris diaw, and crew . lebron's "best teammate" is ilgauskas, who is having a solid season for his age, and after going through several ankle and foot surgeries. larry hughes is good, but he's been out a good portion of the year. drew gooden is drew gooden (insert your comment here) .

yup, we had Duncan back to back, now Nash back to back, pretty impressive for Nash. He deserves it, but I liked Kobe to take this one.

Posted by Spartan on Apr-27-2006 22:10:

Charles Barkely will be pissed, but who really gives a shit about his opinion on anything.

Posted by SlackerBoy9 on Apr-27-2006 22:59:

Kobe deserved the mvp...i hate Kobe, but him dragging those stiffs into the playoffs is amazing
