That seems pretty silly to me. Why don't people put their judgements aside and think for themselves for a little while?

I do not like or dislike Nou. However, I know that it probably is not good for my standing to side with Nou. Yet, I don't give a rat's ass, and why? Because I am stating what my conviction is, and it just happens to be similar to Nous. That is what it comes down to.

Thats what differeniate COR from PDD.

People dont take sides like here in COR and speak their own convictions.

I may not agree with your political views, but you got it right there.

further, you can't really provide a valid reason why everyone should feel bad because this person died, even if before his time. people die in worse ways and earlier every day, people you've never heard of and never will hear of. does pretending you're a good person by paying your 'respects' to this stranger from the internet make you feel better about yourself for ignoring the many others who you have no remorse for not caring about? this guy has real friends and family in his life who will mourn his passing and all that good stuff, as do each of us. that's as much as most people will ever get in death. why should this guy be extra special?

you do have a point there, there's lots of people dying all the time that we never hear of. still, saying you're glad he's dead or anything similar is absolutely distasteful and it's not a big effort to write a "RIP".

Posted by [mart] on Mar-12-2006 19:54:

Perhaps people should seek to be more careful regarding which specific personal and potentially controversial thoughts and opinions they share, especially when a subject as sensitive as death is involved. Whatever you feel, is it really so necessary to speak your mind in situations where it's obvious that by doing so you'll upset others? Oh wait, apparently it is. Before you take a swipe at DickRenegade, perhaps you should assess the general mentality and value of your own posts.

I have an ego too but I earned my living and make a shit load of money but that is not the point. The point is that you have no idea how this guy was in real life, so just because he pissed off a few of you on TA it was karma. Ian stfu please. Nou won in that argument against you, who the fuck do you think you are. There is a bunch of lame ass producers and local djs on this site who think they matter so much. What have you achieved in life. This guy mas a MD and just because he pissed a few of you lame kids on this forum your saying he kinda deserved it. You guys sound like idiots.

Get over yourselves your bumbs. You have no real stamina in life. He was an MD and saved lives. Most of you are high school or college students still stuck at home.

R.I.P even though I never knew him I'm sure god had a reason to take him.

whatever i said has nothing to do with my like / dislike of nou.

i honestly believe that when certain ppl die its a godsend to the rest of us.

like my example of Hitler, that was just an example of someone known to all of us that caused more celebration than misery because he died.

Dick could have been a nice person in real life but thats no reason to cause upset on an internet forum just because he could.
You would think that a real life dr would also show the same kind of respect and compassion for users of a forum as he would his paitents than turn into the complete oppisite and find joy in abusing ppl on the internet.
That does not seem like a type of person i would like as my Dr!!

How much schooling does it take to get an M.D.?

Posted by Dark^Tremor on Mar-12-2006 20:03:

let's put it this way. if there were one or two or ten people on the internet or anywhere who you knew had a great dislike for you for whatever reasons, would you expect them to feel bad if you died? i hope not. would you require them to feel bad or care if they felt glad about your death? i hope not. the situation at hand isn't really a matter of how tasteful or moral it is to be glad that this person died, but how much being glad that this person died offends those who possess...lesser critical thinking skills.

Look, while you do have the right to speak your mind, realise that none of us (as far as i know) knew him personally and that anything we might say about his personality offline is speculative. Even if he was not the ideal person you'd like as a doctor, is it a reason to treat his death without respect? I think not.

That is a really good point and no I am not a troll or a second account. I apologize if I went too far but I was getting so sick and tired of the egos in this place. Sure I have a ego but I earned my living and I was even asked to verify my identity. All you have to do is call Cintas headquartes and ask for alex the Service manager. I'm only 25 and hustled to get where I am. I'm take care of my wife and my mother who is 49 and undergoing chemotherapy. My point is that there are so many egotistical pricks on this site and it has to stop. And its going to stop right now starting with me.

Ian you should also consider deflating your ego.

Nou your a really nice guy and your posts mad a lot of sense.

This is me being serious right now.

I wov not to act like a kid ever again on TA . It was very lame of me to act so childish. Onward please and lets not argue.

So you feel that because he stirred the pot a little here on TA, he deserves to have his death celebrated?

Do you think DickRenegades death was a godsend?

Because if you do, I think there should be a serious re-evaluation of what your values are.

i don't belive i said anywhere that we should celebrate his death because of how he was on TA.
I am being speculative in his offline life, he, like i said, could have been a really nice person, it just also makes me wonder that if in real life he was a nice person and caring and compasionate in his role as a Dr then is able to come here and act like the idiot that he did and delight in causing upset, then there must be a screw loose with him somewhere and i would not like to have someone who is capable of that to be the person responsible for my real life health.

if so, for who's sake?

just to pick this one up, I have no ego at all, it could not be further from the truth, anybody who knows me properly knows this, and that I have such poor self esteem. If you're a 2nd account, why not enlighten us on the original name, if not, give the guy some respect if you liked him or not & keep your rants for other threads, good idea ?

I am not going to defend "Dick". But I would just like to say that alot of people here are probobly totally different in real life. We all can get away with so much on the internet, that talking like an asshole won't matter because there aren't any real consequences (Besides being suspended).

I, myself, try to be as real as I can be in here. The only thing that I would say is different IRL, is the way I speak. To me, typing is alot easier than speaking, so I can fit in alot more words in. IRL, however, I talk fast and brief. Speaking articulately takes alot out of me, because it's easier to say, "Fuck this" and "Shit, I gotta fucking, blah blah..."

I actually had no real take on his internet persona but I'm fairly sure it wouldn't be the same as who he was in real life.

RIP.
