One thing missing from the Vancouver scene is local airplay for electronic music (ie radio stations). That's one big way to draw up interest but a few attempts haven't gone too well. I just feel trance, or electronic music in general is still a niche market.

man, im kinda angry about this whole thing. on the Friday hes in NY, then Saturday in Chicago, then sunday he comes here and plays a probably half-assed gig, which will only go to 2am anways. ill bet we'll only get a 2 hour set too.

i guess it was too much to request that he come on a weekend after a 2+ year absence..

From what I heard a long time ago there are 2 dates.

Now I see on his site it says May 7th but I only see tix for the May 8th show, it would make sense to announce the May 7th show before so I dont know whats going on anymore

In 6 Days Ill see a 7 hour set

Ticketmaster start selling tickets at 10am, and HoB says Boomtown will have tickets, boomtown opens at 9am if I remember correctly.

Will Boomtown have tix when they open ? or will they get em at 10am, an extra hour can be worth alot

Boomtown doesn't have tix at the moment. They don't even know about it right now. They might have some on Friday. I think Boomtown opens at 11am.

HOB says tix are on sale Friday, for all you scalpers.
