I like 2 tracks out of this entire CD...I honestly think it's crap.
it mostly sounds like racket

& if I see another track with 'electro' in the name I will shoot myself in the face.

Its In search of sunrise.. a compilation meant to be mellow. Not some high energy stuff.. always has.

The truth of the matter is.. THERE IS SO MUCH CRAPPY TRANCE music now-adays and house has fused sounds with trance and thats the reality. Trance doesnt sound epic anymore, there are the fewer tracks but its rare.. you can count them compared to years past. Now I thank Above & Beyond and the few others that keep the real trance element not the monotonic sound.. Ive come to aprecciate other sounds so I dont know.. Even so, I listen to older trance sets and Im like.. thats whats laking trance music today, the epic uplifting emotional feel.. they are around, but like I said. Rare..

The first 4 or 5 tracks are all vocal tracks...which are shit. I can't believe I thought this mix might be decent.

Seriously.

If you cant pick good electro dont fucking play it.

Felipe I get you 100% & I know they aren't meant to be energetic but there is way better 'mellow' music to play out there. Other ISOS have been way better...the 2nd one cannot be touched...it was awesome & that is what bothers me about this one.

I've never even liked epic trance...I'm not into the uplifting stuff...I'm more into the dancey-techy trance which is around & is good...honestly a lot of people don't know the good stuff that is out because it's underground & not many play it...except people like Blank & Jones, Signum & our very own GrooveEric.

People should take the time to found out the good stuff because the stuff Armin/PvD/Ferry/etc drop these days isn't the trance I know & like...but many people base it on that.

I can find you 20 good quality trance tracks right now & they're not old...they're brand new & some unrealesed...

it's a matter of taking interest to find it. But if you base it on the mainstreem stuff that is out of course it's going to be crap.
