Any new info about it yet ?
I definately need to hear that album...

Rank 1 Vs. Morph - Life Less Ordinary is a killer track and so is Mike Koglin Vs. Morph - Shift...

And PLEASE don't edit or mix the album; just original tracks

Posted by Push2005 on Jun-25-2006 09:06:

So far we already know about :

CD 1

Alex M.O.R.P.H. Vs. Rank 1 - Live Less Ordinary
Alex M.O.R.P.H. Vs. Mike Koglin - Shift
Alex M.O.R.P.H. Vs. Talla 2XLC - Full Prelude
Alex M.O.R.P.H. Vs. Woody Van Eyden - Heavenly
Alex M.O.R.P.H. Vs. Christian Weber feat. Roberta Carter Harrison - Sad Song
Alex M.O.R.P.H. Vs. Misja Helsloot - L-One
Alex M.O.R.P.H. vs Woody van Eyden - Y68

Also possible:

Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Unification
Alex M.O.R.P.H. - New Harvest

CD 2

Wild suggestions:

Andy Moor - Halcyon (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
Super8 Vs. Dj Tab - Helsinki Scorchin' (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
Jochen Miller - Chromatic (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
Fred Baker - Forever Friends (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
Sanoa - Isis (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
Lennox - Servants Of Justice (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
Armin Van Buuren - Shivers (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
Shane 54 & Abel Ramos - Kippenvelmeter (Alex M.O.R.P.H. / Scirocco Remix)
2 Trance - In My Dreams (Alex M.O.R.P.H. / Van Eyden Remix)

or maybe that new remix of "Without You Near" ?

Posted by Satelllite on Jun-25-2006 10:53:

guys, sadly to say that, but i smell this album will be released on Armada. my provements:
1. Armin is always the first one who gets the promos of M.o.r.p.h.'s works - for example he was the first who played that life less ordinary track (except rank 1) / or that morph vs van eyden remix of jon o'bir, which was featured in asot this thursday.
2. In this weeks show armin said that life less ordinary will be released due to such amount of phone calls, but firstly he said it surely won't be released 2 or 3 weeks ago. seems like he is getting informed by armada crew or morph himself about that?
3. we know that morph is one of armin's favourites, he always drops alex's new works in his asots, morph even remixed andy moor's halcyon, which was signeg to armind, and i've read on morph's site that morph is the man who was asked to do that mysterious remix of without you near, which is also an armada track - there even was not any info about that!
so, my conclusion is: this album is signed to armada records, and due to label's busy shedule (and summer too?) alex's artist album will be released somewhere around september.
that are just my thoughts & guesses i will be happy if my thoughts are wrong though. still, we need teamo for some more right info.

^ Good point there... But I hope your predictions are wrong... Armada just sucks

Where's Tea-mo when we need him

Posted by Tea-mo on Jun-25-2006 13:46:

Let me just ask you a little question yet:

Why does Armada "suck" ? Because Armin is there ?
Armada is one of THE addresses for trance music, and it's one of the most successful labels...

Posted by Push2005 on Jun-25-2006 13:52:

No, because they try to drain every talent that's left towards them, leaving smaller labels bleeding to death... They eliminate much competition.

Also Armada is a label that doens't necesarily stands for quality anymore, as they try to sign so many records. They're always busy pressing new records and cd's that releasedates are always getting delayed further and further...

Many talented artists just don't belong there. Names like Matthew Dekay and M.I.K.E instantly pop up when saying this.
The Morph album was planned to get released soon, but if you really are going to give it to Armada it will still take a while.
And yes, I don't want that all of those Morph tunes are going to be played by Armin, it makes them look more commercial.

What happened to Fenology ? Can't they release it ?

so that your question means i am right or not? maybe your could provide us any more information about that?

Posted by Tea-mo on Jun-25-2006 18:02:

- I don't know anything about the album released on Armada
- Why would I ? It's a theory made up by your "smell"
- Why shouldn't Armada sign the stuff when it's good ? When they believe in the tracks and in a success, they would be stupid if they wouldn't sign them. Armada IS a successful label and people send their stuff to them. The ARTISTS could also send their stuff to other labels, so why blame Armada ?
- Can't say something about the quality there, but I don't think that the quality on Armada is not good, or that it's "not that good anymore"...It may be in some people's heads or whatever

I (sadly) don't know sh!t, so I hope I don't disappoint you

PS:
Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Christian Weber Feat. Roberta Carter Harrison - Sad Song

Because many artists think they will get more recognition or earn more from the records when signed to Armada; which is a fake idea...

Well I can say, quality is going downhill, really. Only 20% of their releases can be labelled as quality or original.

Well listen, I don't care that much where it's going to be released. It just matters for Alex' credibility.
I will buy the album anyway, so the only thing I can hope is that it gets released soon, which will not be the case when signed to Armada, then it only will LEAK soon ... The longer the release gets delayed, fewer people will buy the album.

I'm a huge supporter of Alex Morph and since this album was announced earlier I can only deeply regret it will be delayed till maybe after the summer ... I atleast hope that the limited edition DVD still continues and tracks will be in full length

Posted by Tea-mo on Jun-25-2006 18:53:

Sure, there is a time between the promo and the release in which the people want to buy it. The longer it takes, the more people don't want it anymore...
But the website from Alex says that "some things happened behind the screens", so I don't think that he/they can do anything about it, or at least try to solve the problems as quick as possible...
The more delay, the more nervous fans, the more criticsm, the more stress...

It's a risky business

Posted by Push2005 on Jun-25-2006 19:07:

I understand that but can't you reveal anything more for us ?

Like a tracklist, an estimation of the releasedate, some short samples, etc ?

I have the feeling it will take a long time... Please proof my wrong

Alex M.O.R.P.H. vs Woody van Eyden - Y68

Also possible:

Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Unification

In the standard edition, CD 1 will include all Alex M.O.R.P.H.s singles and co-ops (Containing lots of unreleased tracks) and CD 2 will include all of the remixes he is doing for artists such as Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Andy Moor, ATB, Matt Darey, Solarstone, Super8/DJ Tab.
