| Originally posted by ASFSE man, some good tracks on there. but i dont really feel your selection, and that goes for most of the mixes i've heard from you. in my opinion you got some really great tunes, but then some tunes just kill the vibe. that's just from a listeners stand point. might be diffrent from a dancers!! still with that being said, nice mix, and can't wait for your next one. and ya animal magic is a ill track!! keep an eye out for my summer mix as well!! |

Downloading.
Better late than never.
I second that. After a very long absence from the scene I'm finally back. You had asked me to download one of your sets quiteawhile ago... can't remember what it was called but I'm pretty sure it had the word "Fuck" in it. Anyways, I promised a thorough review but flaked on you as I've been gone for what seems like an eternity. However, I did have a couple of listens to it and I just could not get into it. Definately not my stlye from my recolection. This thread seems to have gotten plenty of reviews so I'll check this set out now and give a detailed review like in the past. I managed to sneak in a couple of hours the other day and made a set myself so check it out if you want. Forewarned, its not my usual style and has lots of Tribal House in it so I'm not sure you'll like it. Nevertheless, give 'er a listen if you please.

Cheers! This is a great mix!
Greg,
I have to say, that I have now listened to this set over 10 times and I would like to tell you that it will go back into my CD player on a regular basis.
It really is pro sounding. Much more mellow than I usually like but with the sunroof open, and the windows down driving downtown with some shades on, this is perfect.
Lots of songs that I don't know and I think the programming is excellent.
I can't wait to meet you when you come to Canada.

Better late than ever I suppose. I don't know how I missed this one back when it was new, but I'm glad I found it now. I put this on in the car on my way back from taking a test, and boy am I glad I waited until afterwards. Had I not, I probably would have been still tapping my foot when I heard the words "pencils down".
The progression of this set is amazing. You have some mint tracks in there, but what makes the set special is the way it flows from nearly minimal to deep to dirty in an hour. Really fantastic. The mixing is tight, the selection is top notch, and frankly, this is one I will keep for some time to come.
You and Lucid easily have the best taste in track selection on these forums (in my humble opinion). Keep it up, I'll be looking for the next one this time.
Maybe it's just me, but for first bit the flow wasn't quite smooth. Got really enjoyable from middle of the set on. Yeah. Warsaw didn't quite fit.
Mixing wise no major flaws (other than some quick adjusting during transitions)
Good mix
just listened this. i gotta say i enjoyed this mix all in all. didn't like one transition, it was to some vocal track quite at the end, but overall the transitions were nice and smooth and i liked the tracks too.
Thanks for the continued support of this mix!
This mix has a lot of feelin for me and it's nice to see people can still feel that feel

Hey, I told you in the other thread I'd let you know how I liked it, I've just got through listening to it (I also did last night but last night was a bit
so it doesn't really count
) and it is awesome! I seriously love this mix, it's going to be staying on my iPod for quite some time. Can't wait for your next one!
