Try starting out with Hank Williams Sr. (old stuff) and Trace Adkins (new stuff). There's a ton of crappy pop-country out there, so listening on the radio might not be up your alley.

I hear hank williams III is supposed to be a great show. I wanna check this guy out some time. He starts his show off with his grandfather and fathers songs and finishs off with his own stuff. Its supposed to be completely different. I guess he has tat's all over too.
