Lira means "The Ire" in Vulgar Latin, from which derived the word "Delirium" ("De" meaning "from" and "Lirium" meaning "thos who have ire").

Rar!

*btw this pendulum is not the DnB trio fom Perth, but the original pendulum from Melbourne who played progressive house (circa mid 1990's).

They were better known for their tracks 'Awesome Party' & 'Coma'

lucid = clear = Claire (my middle name)

i added the umlaut () because regular lucid was taken.

it's also the title of a Freddy Jones Band CD that i used to love when i was like 15 yrs old, and it's just a cool word in general.

random fact: the name of my wireless connection at home is called "lucidgasm"

Zoso was one of the symbols that Jimmy Page used on the album Led Zeppelin 4. It was the handle I used when I logged onto an IRC channel for the first time in my life. Just kinda stuck.

Posted by Ondrayce on May-12-2006 15:28:

I took a french elective in seventh grade, and the teacher would take attendance using french variations of our names. When my name came up (Andrew) she said Andres. I didn't recognise it and was counted abscent on the first day. Since then I've noticed it come up as a nickname from time to time.

Ondrayce is just more of a literal spelling of how she said Andres.

Posted by bogartgreens on May-12-2006 15:49:

as defined in the urban dictionary:

Bogart (slang verb) - To keep something all for oneself, thus depriving anyone else of having any. A slang term derived from the last name of famous actor Humphrey Bogart because he often kept a cigarette in the corner of his mouth, seemingly never actually drawing on it or smoking it. Often used with weed or joints but can be applied to anything.

e.g. "Don't bogart that blunt man, pass that over here!"

Greens (slang noun) - weed, cheeba, marijuana, trees, etc...

any questions?

Oh wait. It's my first name. It's a Bulgarian name, in origin, but I'm from Moldova. Otherwise, the Hebrew name is "Yakov" and it means "God's gift to the world".
