Absolutely no one with a cd entitled "Fuck Me I'm Famous" could be anywhere close to AVERAGE.... honestly Jeff...

Your cd will be "Fuck Me I'm A Floor Whore"

Brilliance at its finest.

"Fuck Me on the Floor, I'm a Whore" >???? essential mix 2?

Posted by jon jon on May-19-2006 14:08:

yeah we managed to hit a lot of parties this year. LMAO

How is my brain still functioning...

my runners up list is crazyness:
Morillo - Pacha NYC
Guetta - the Cross (UK)
Howells - Pawnshop Miami
Porter @ TiL
Deep Dish @ TiL
C&C New Years Day

Honestly, that is insanity. And that's not counting all those smaller parties at Footwork, Drink, Kabin, or the TA 6 year. How am I still able to walk! lol

3. TA 6 Year @ The Docks
4. Morillo @ Lot 332

yeah, same here.

1.danny howells NYE @ system
2.desyn masiello doubleheader weekend - TIL/Helsinki (set was better in ottawa but crowd was uber wierd and i didn't like them!)
3.steve porter/eli wilkie @ stereo - didn't get good till 8 am but those 2.5 hours afterwards rocked.

omg. i think those are the only parties i've been to apart from decadence and miss babs. holy fuck. i don't get out much.

Posted by Special K on May-19-2006 14:54:

so far i had the most fun when desyn was here but like i didnt even have that great of a night out that night! it was good but not spectacular ...

other than that everything has kinda been average, nothing really amazing ... i dunno!

but i have a feeling all of that will change in the upcoming weeks / months tho (ie. richie next week, lawler in june, sundance festival etc etc)

edit: oh yea aquaviva @ the drink in january was fucking wicked!

double edit: depeche mode last night were fucking wicked! amazing concert!

Posted by zokissima on May-19-2006 14:56:

For me, I'd have to say
NYE MTL
Bal en Blanc
C&C at Sonic

UMF at Miami.

yeah, i kinda feel the same way. although, i haven't been out much so most events have been good, but nothing AMAZING (although i did think danny on nye rocked, it wasn't like 12 hour aria amazingness or anything). i have not had any "spiritual epiphanies" due to fantastic sets like in the days of yore. hehe.

i dunno if it's just me getting bored of this or if it's the music, but i miss that! i'm waiting for lawler on the skybar to cure this.

Posted by StereoPrincess on May-19-2006 15:04:

New year's. the entire session from system to 270.

Deep Dish.

Emma's going away/TA 6 year.

Posted by kaniz on May-19-2006 15:17:

1. Sleeparchive @ Sud99

Sleeparchive is a master of minimal, and starting to edge his way past Hawtin for me. The promoters really went the extra mile to transfom Sud99 into a totatly new space, the decorations were stellar and the music was great. Sleeparchive knocked me on my ass and I loved it.

2. Speedy J @ The Gallery

Mother Fucken Speedy J - hard, reletnless, and just a constant build of intensity. Normally i dont like beats that hard/fast, but this just floored me, amazing party.

3. Audion @ Footwork

I left this party feeling like my head had just been sent through a sonic head-bender, great music, lots of fun.

4. C&C @ Sonic

After spending the first part of the year going to techno parties, I needed to get some dirty tribal goodness into my system. First time checking out Sonic, and 3rd time seeing C&C. While their NYE set at Stereo (last time I saw them) was better, this set was pretty good. Danced nonstop from the time I got in the door, great night

That was an awesome party....my techno legs were at their finest that night. The only reason it doesn't make my top 3 is the lack of TA turnout.....for me....the party doesn't start and end with the music....the people I'm with make a huge difference.

Graham, this has already been discussed in another thread.

You work for Sonic, and you are paid to come on the boards and hype up our parties.

Just admit it already.

lmao

p.s. -

Srsly. I like the club a lot, so therefore I must be a promoter for it.

Just in case there was any confusion:

I DO NOT WORK FOR SONIC NIGHTCLUB!
