| Originally posted by phoenixBEBE rofl!! okay, enough of this debate..ahah it was an ACTION movie, thats it. lol what was it then, if it wasn't ACTION?! (altho side note: Halle Berry is def NOT looking as GOOD as she used to be. They should have tried to get better camera angles of her) yes i agree, bryan singer is def an awesome director...hmm what else has he done? Wait -- he was involved with the Usual Suspects right (directing/screenplay)? or no? and why didnt he do Xmen this time...was it cuz he took on Superman Returns? <-- man WATCH this be the BLOCKBUSTER of the SUMMER! well we can hope. heeh |

| Originally posted by Highmay ok now youre starting to get confusing...you say you wanted more action, then you agree with trunks about there being too much action...do you even know what you wanted from it? because it doesnt seem like you do... |
woah... that is some cool info about Blade Runner, the movie used to freak me out like hell when I was younger, now I'm glad I've never bought a DVD
Pirates def. gonna be a great movie can't wait for this one...
Am I the only one not really carring about Superman? the first trailer wasn't really all that and the one attached to X3 had some nice special effects but I was like meh.. we'll see, I'll prolly see it at the end anyway.
Overall there isn't really too many movies to look forward to this year...
Actually a friend of mine was the media director for Pirates (I think pheonix and langazn knows her too). It was shot in Nassau, she was lucky enough to get to stay at Atlantis....yea I hated on her for that lol....
^^ i'd b jealous too
Future Release: THE FOUNTAIN (out October 13)
directed by darren aronofsky
THE FOUNTAIN is about love and death and the nature of this frail and precious matter we are made of. It is an epic that is concerned only with the personal impact of its incredible events. It is not about saving the world, but it is about how we will all eventually be saved. Spanning over one thousand years, and three parallel stories, The Fountain is a story of love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of our existence in this world
When asked about the film Darren said, "It's a post-Matrix, metaphysical Sci-Fi movie, and it's very different to anything you've seen. I call it post-Matrix because Matrix reinvented sci-fi in the same way Star Wars did, or 2001. I'm in a new environment, I'm trying to figure out what type of film would play to an audience now, and I think we came up with something really cool."
was a big fan of "Pi" and "Requiem for a Dream", this looks very promising
