wtf?why would I make up something like that?I ended up staying there for 14 hours and while I was there they didnt give me any food either. At the end I had to wait for my lab results for about another 4 hours and then I realized that the doctor totally forgot about me and he didnt know I was waiting for 4 hours for him
.
our so called healthcare system is a fuckin disaster and if there is ever a disaster like SARS we are truly fucked. One doctor for the whole emergency unit???

we did have a sars disaster....
why did you wait their for your lab results? and not go home? you know your not the only patient there, right?
what was your injury(if you dont mind sharing)..its HARDLY as bad some like to say it is...
about tanning, Most tanning places have rules not allowing you to tan if you are under 16(or 18) unless you have parents concent iirc, so this isnt that far from what most were already practicing.

LOL You call 100 people catching it, and a few thousand who coughed in the morning and rushed straight to the hospital a disaster?
If Canada was ever faced with a REAL epidemic, we'd be fucked.

That's right, keep ignoring that fact that you have NOT ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE to backup your opinion.
Why the hell do you THINK he waited? So he knew whether he needed medical treatment or not!
But you're right, there WERE other people there. 90% of them had a sprained left eyebrow or something equally unimportant. That's why our healthcare system sucks. People stub their toe and rush off to emergency to make sure it isn't broken. If people had to pay for each visit, they'd be a LOT more responsible about going to the hospital, and the system wouldn't be clogged with minor injuries and people with a cold.

just to correct you Jayx1 in Ontario there is such thing as 50/50 fault policy, and at times when the drivers make such an error as driving onto the bicycle-lane and hitting pedestrian or the cyclist in the process the Ontario government looks at the case as if its both pedestrian's fault as well as the drivers

Euphorica, Jayx1 has a point; you can't justify yourself and attack him for no reason. Jayx1 brought up significant evidence about our healthcare system, just to add to the thread, at hospitals most of the employees just simply do not care about the well being of their patience, instead they look at only one point of view, which is their point of view and that is how to get rich quickly with doing minimum tasks. I think if most of the doctors were held responsible for their negligence and their carelessness; our world would be a much better place. But since most of these doctors and employees can't be held accountable for anything, chaos will still remain present with in our healthcare system. Oh and remember this, most people don't realize certain things until it touches them personally in one way or another.
