if you had been there with us last year, you'd know why we're so bothered about this one it was without a doubt the best day/night EVER... the mud just made it even more fun!

i hope it rains again this year!!

Posted by goldenarmZ on Mar-15-2002 13:56:

if it does rain again, i challenge everyone to a game of mudbath kabaddi!! for anyone who hasn't played before, here's a quick guide to the game:

It is a game with two teams, usually played in a big fuck off muddy field in the middle of nowhere. A player from one team (whoever is most fucked) has to run/slide around and touch as many players of the other team as possible. Slide tackles are permitted, in fact they are encouraged. The people that are touched are then out. But, the player doing the chasing has to do it in one breath! Just to make sure they do, they have to keep saying "kabbadi". The first team to lose all it's players are the LOSERS!!.

yer a fucking idiot!

the person who is tryin to touch the players can also be grabbed and pulled over their line by the opposing team and then they are out...i used to watch kabaddi regularly on trans-world sport so I KNOW.

I have a couple of things to say about the lineup. Is this the final lineup or will there be more added. Cos there is lack of quality dj's eg. tiesto, marco v, dumonde, scot project, ferry corsten, signum etc. they should give the boot to nick riley and judge jules, then let a couple of the above in on my opinion. Cos the lineup is looking less impressive than MOS's Knebworth last year!!!

Posted by Ste on Mar-20-2002 17:26:

its about half the lineup. loads more to add. eg. signum and umonde r booked, but not confirmed yet.

Posted by sykadelik on Mar-20-2002 17:30:

I need to see duMonde live as well as signum after missing them at GK @ telewest. I was contemplating not getting a ticket at the present state of the lineup. I suppose I'll just have to wait a bit for the linup to get better b4 buying a ticket!

Posted by tu_face on Mar-22-2002 11:03:

its march, the event is in june... plenty of time to get those bigger names in...

give nick riley the boot..? are you fuckin insane..??!!!!

Posted by Kinuvan on Mar-22-2002 16:45:

Signum are on the line up in the Tidy Trax arena hance my early post.

I never went to the summer sound system before, but I'm seriously considering it this year. How does it cost so much?! I went to the Love Parade in 2000 (which was free), and it was the best party ever, but over 50 seems a little steep for an outdoor dance party?

I know the lineup is wicked, but along with travelling costs, this trip could cost me a small fortune.

Can people who have been before tell me if it is seriously worth it?

Ta

mate... waddayou reckon..?

its nearly 50 quid and worth every fuckin penny mate

Posted by Mallard on Apr-13-2002 11:00:

45 last year was it? I struggle to remember...it was all a little messy.

Anyways, you aren't only paying for the insanely amazing SSS experience, you get the delights of South Northamptonshire thrown in for free. I'd be willing to pay 50 notes just to see Brackley or Towcester anyday - and sample 'GateSlammer', the alternative provided by the Young Farmers of the region

Posted by verminator on Apr-15-2002 21:09:

asd

50 is VERY cheap for a lineup like this one..
if this had been norway, you had to pay at least 100+++++++

you should be glad instead of whining about the price..
i see the same thing is happening with .nl ppl about Dance Valley, where the ticket is 75 euro....

you getting spoiled with cheap prices
