That would explain a lot, cause that's just stupid.

oh yeah! i've seen that a lot, riding a bus and looking out of the window into cars outside, a lot of drivers with their iPOD earphones on

Posted by FunkyCrew on Jun-15-2006 20:09:

ah ok I guess it's more the fact that people get distracted by changing the songs and all

restricting the use of electronic devices, such as cell phones, MP3 players and wireless hand-held devices, they can truly focus on the driving task.

Anybody who is driving a car and has headphones on should be sterilized

Any "child" would know what natural selection is "FUNKYBREWSTER"

Natural selection occurs when a group of mammals/ plants develop traits that allow them to survive physically as well as socially in an ever developing and changing environment.

Don't ever call me a child.

I didn't think CAA's suggestion was a big deal. I grew up in Montreal, and headphones on car drivers and bike riders have been illegal since the Sony Walkman came out in the early 80s.

What it does it matter if i'm wearing headphones while driving?

well I don't know about you but I totally disconnect from outside world when I'm listening to my music and especially in headphones

but we would need drivers, especially newbies, to be fully alert on roads

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Jun-15-2006 20:20:

Won't blasting the stereo achieve the same effect?

Well perhaps next time, to avoid being misunderstood, try communicating with more than just a "..." and a "".

perhaps, or not. It's not often I address posts of this sort. I just thought natural selection was best to be defined as somethng more than an "animal eating another".

well I was thinking in the lines of how can killing yourself on a bike be defined as a natural selection, I guess I was just not 100% sure what natural selection is in the end

and I am trying to be on topic these days! I did have an opinion about both the tanning and this thread, and I'm stating it

like honestly, unless Swamper has something against my posting, I don't see why my posting should bother anyone

p.s. I sent you a pm..

We can, of course. They're really just a lobbyist in this respect, they don't make policy.
