Havent seen a team so far with so much spirit. What a massive performance!!! One of the best games at this world cup Ive seen so far.

Go Ghana!!!!

biggest upset in the WC so far? i think so!

amazing... i couldn't believe my eyes..but shit, ghana should have had way more goals...jeez, how many shots on goal did they have, like 384? they were extremely agressive and also impulsive and had some messy shots..

the czechs are crying their eyes out.. well, they still have hope...

can someone tell me how ujfalusi got the red card?? i missed that play and there was no replay.. kthxbai.

Completely unlikely match, nobody in their right minds would think before the game Ghana would slaughter the czechs like they just did.

The group is now a complete mess, but it's still worth to note the czechs have an advantage over Ghana in goal average and with the new rules if both teams end up with the same points Czech Rep goes through despite losing in direct confrontation. However it's a mistery how will the czechs deal emotionally with the defeat. And chances are they won't have a single striker for the final match, against Italy! (Baros and Koller injured, Lokvenc suspended)

Czech Rep was probably the most impressive team of the first round but right now I think Italy and Ghana will go through.

This is great.

I knew it!

Ghana deserved to win and they outplayed a very bad Czech Republic. The Czech's suffers big time because of their injuries on Jan Koller and Milan Baros, that could've been seen clearly today and at the end of the USA game.

I'm glad that Ratomir Dujkovic got the chance to prove himself with Ghana after the African Cup of Nations where Essien got injured and couldn't play (Bullshit from Chelseas side, he played 3 days after Ghana was knocked out of the Cup) and Stephen Appiah had to do two players work on the midfield. Now that he's got Essien, He's only doing his own work as a captain and keyplayer.

Asamoah Gyan was great today, he showed some skill earlier in this tournament and I was sure that he would come up great against the Czech's who lost all their play when Jan Koller got injured. It also makes me happy that Muntari scored one goal, and he deserved it after running like mad all game long.

Asamoah Gyan should've scored at least 3 times today, and he has to improve his shooting percentage if he wants Ghana to go through even further. Also, Very much credit to Mensah who did a great job without Kuffour. The defence was playing good today and didn't have any bigger problems with the Czech's.

Two great saves from Kingston in the end, good job.

Asamoah Gyan and Muntari are both suspended for the next game, unfortunately. But I hope they can come up with a great game against USA.

Go Ghana!

he made a foul in the area when Gyan was about to shoot face to face with the keeper. red card and penalty kick, that Gyan missed by hitting the post.

I think this match also reinforces the idea that in the group stage what you need is to score points and qualify, not to make great exhibitions. Performing great early doesn't guarantee anything for the next games. Czech was fantastic in the first game, only to be slaughtered one week later..

Yep yep, the World Cup really begins in the 1/8 round, you may lose the cup earlier in the groups stage, but pulling superb performances doesn't mean shit right now...

He's either Jewish or playing in the Israeli League and thanks them for giving him the chance to play.

Quite hilarious

Jan Koller is essential to the Czech Republic

True. He's so essential that they tried to replace him by putting a nearly 100% scale dummy of Koller upfront.
