australia should have won this game counting by chances but those brazil monkeys have more luck than any other things. (and fuck merk the referee you bastard )

Posted by zoric on Jun-18-2006 17:52:

The two worst games of the World Cup was played today, I'm sorry but Brazil was shit and Australia should've scored at least twice.

Harry Kewell and Marko Bresciano should've started.

Posted by Siesta on Jun-18-2006 17:53:

Brazil should be a shamed! so much quality, and they play crap...

Posted by saint_sileighty on Jun-18-2006 17:54:

Today are absolutely horrid matches! I won't bother watching Korea-France. Brazil beat Australia. JOGA BONITO Brazil, well I guess the guy from the nike ads was right...

HAHAHAHAHAHA SO TRUE !!!! PUTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSS

and adriano (except for his goal) is ronaldo-gordo #2

Posted by zoric on Jun-18-2006 17:59:

Ze Roberto and Kak is the only one I would give slighter credit for todays game. The rest of the players were horrible.

to Fred for scoring his 3rd goal in his 4th game for Brazil.

Posted by Arno F on Jun-18-2006 18:00:

And again it shows that all the referee's are pro-brazal, fuck Blatter

Merk was shit, I agree. But he was shit when Holland and SCG played to. Fuck him, just hope he doesn't get any bigger matches, But I'm afraid he will..

Posted by trabozi on Jun-18-2006 18:05:

the fucking brazils seem to have a big bonus
fuck them

Posted by caudio on Jun-18-2006 18:06:

What a horrible game!!! Brasil needs to improve a lot if they want to be something on this cup, unfortunetly im sure that they can...
Ronaldo needs to retire i think, robinho is so much better, let's face it, ronaldo was a great player, but now is fat and old, if robinho plays a whole match, im sure that Brasil can improve a lot in attacks.. The rest of the team are only Nike advertising....

Posted by fastmp3 on Jun-18-2006 18:06:

watch your mouth trabozi

Posted by LittleGoku on Jun-18-2006 18:17:

you= need to be banned for racist remarks.

get a clue newb.

Posted by malek on Jun-18-2006 18:24:

nothing racist, they played like monkeys.

anyways, horrible game from both teams, austrialian didn't deserve to win. When you have a wide open net and shoot elsewhere you deserve to lose.

Posted by Chuck Norris on Jun-18-2006 18:25:

Brazil didn't deserve 3 points out of this game.

Im sure you don't mean it in that way considering that you are a regular poster here

Posted by fastmp3 on Jun-18-2006 18:31:

brazilians are celebrating here in downtown

Another shit display by Brazil, although this one, in my opinion, was less shitty than against Croatia (which is not saying much, I know), so in a sense, they're improving.

Game notes:

1-) Ronaldo played a little better this time, but not by much. He had two very nice passes that either resulted or almost resulted in goals (first pass in the 2nd minute over the top to Kaka who blasted one that barely missed, and the second one to Adriano). Other than that, not very effective, although he was more active this game. Screw ABC for showing him whiff on the ball over and over again. We get it you fuckin' dumbasses.

2-) Ronaldinho was again far from effective. His passing was sub-par yet again, and he didn't create much at all for his forwards. If Ronaldinho doesn't start making plays for everyone else, the offense is going to keep struggling and only brilliant but sporadic individual displays are going to save them.

3-) Kaka was again the best offensive player for his side. At least he's in top-form. Had two booming shots (one that barely missed and the other that required a good save from the keeper) and hit a crossbar on a header, but missed an absolute gimme at the end that would have made it 3-0. Still great as usual.

4-) Adriano was crap as usual. Other than his goal, he did next to nothing. I still don't understand why defenders don't crowd him on his left foot. HE HAS NO RIGHT FOOT. MY 5 YEAR OLD COUSIN HAS MORE CONTROL OVER HER RIGHT FOOT THAN THIS MAN.

5-) Ze Roberto was awesome in defensive mid-field. Made two enormous (and clean) tackles that prevented the Australians from breaking loose onto the Brazilian goal. Man of the match for me.

6-) Robinho again injected some life into Brazil's offense as soon as he came on. Had two great chances, including the one that hit the post and was cleaned up by FREDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!

7-) The Brazilian central defense was shaky. Against better teams, they'll have problems if they play like that again.

The Aussie defense was very solid. They also had 4 GREAT chances that they couldn't convert: 1 on the Dida mistake, one when Bresciano was ALL ALONE and inexplicably waited forever and didn't shoot till he was dispossessed, and two flicks over Dida that just barely missed. Again, with a bit more class from their forwards, they would have gotten at least a couple of goals.

Whoever complained about the ref in this game is on crack. Hallucinogenic mushroom-like heroin spiked crack. By far the best ref in this World Cup, who actually let the players play and didn't take away from the flow of the game. If anything, he was harsh with Brazil, giving out yellow cards to Ronaldo and Robinho for shooting after the whistle and complaining a little too much after a call, respectively.

Finally, as much I still love Ronaldo, it's clear that Robinho currently gives this team more. The offense was much more free flowing and creative when he entered in the 70th minute, and Robinho created more chances in 20 minutes than Ronaldo did in 70. Give the kid a chance to shine.

Posted by malek on Jun-18-2006 18:40:

epi, you're on crack, as much as that german ref.

Malek, you're still drunk from celebrating Germany's win over Poland. Give me ONE call that he missed or called for Brazil. ONE!?
