Korea can't string anything together. No playmaker in midfield. Running their asses off isn't going to help when France seems to have majority of ball control.

Koreans have helluva fan support them.

I dig it.... nothing's better than unbiased mod Did you even bother to read before lashing out at me? Or is self-defense against SD rules?

Posted by Yohan on Jun-18-2006 20:31:

Interesting sub by Korea, taking out their best deadball kicker for a forward. Well, Ahn Jung Hwan has come through for Korea a few times...

Posted by Sinus on Jun-18-2006 20:31:

I shouldn't have called you a moron, I apologize for that. I was just a bit annoyed. Let's forget about it, alright?

Posted by Cloud on Jun-18-2006 20:33:

Posted by Cloud on Jun-18-2006 20:40:

This group is becoming interesting.

Gallas could save that goal.

I was thinking that, I thought he was gonna dive and at least try, the ball was at his reach... Why hasn't Trezeguet played yet? France needs some gunners

Posted by aNYthing on Jun-18-2006 20:53:

1-1 tie... sigh. that game was a bit boring, imho.

Posted by Yohan on Jun-18-2006 20:54:

Yeah. Trezeguet might have been better than Henry really. Koreans aren't that tall and his height might have caused trouble.

France should have won, though their attacks were nothing to write home about.

I smell the axe coming for Domenech.

Posted by Sinus on Jun-18-2006 20:54:

Would be a damn shame if the game we just witnessed was Zidane's last game..

I hope France make it through, only because Zidane doesn't deserve this They will have to beat Togo for that to happen though, and with the way France are currently playing that's not a given.

Posted by Kapedano on Jun-18-2006 20:56:

I cant believe this was a tie for France. Hopefully I will see Zidane againt

Posted by luisjb82 on Jun-18-2006 20:59:

Terribly disappointed in France... they missed so many chances, how could they let S. Korea handle the ball?, it sucks so much. And it's not like France has to win vs. Togo, they better score many goals too so they don't rely on goals difference

France got what they deserved. Go Dick!

Posted by zoric on Jun-18-2006 21:00:

A boring game?

Guess I didn't miss out on anything then?

Posted by K.I.K.E. on Jun-18-2006 21:04:

France played bad, but still could have won (ungiven goal against Korea, how strange).

I think Switzerland will win their 2 games, and France will defeat Togo.

Posted by luisjb82 on Jun-18-2006 21:04:

It was a rather exciting game but I get the feeling everything happened was France's fault only. They allowed the koreans to control the ball, pretty much giving them hope about the draw instead of trying to finish it sooner.

In the end, a fair draw for both teams.
