It is not so much his form as much as the position Parreira has him in. He's playing a different role than he's used to at Barca and it is evident he's not comfortable yet. You rarely see him cutting through the opposition coming from the sides towards the center and having a final say in the play. He's playing more centrally and farther back. He's supposed to set the pace of the game and architect the plays. The attacking is being left more for the strikers. This is obviuosly not working. Adriano is sucking and Ronaldo is just beginning to get back into it. Too bad Robinho is injured. The sloppy passes are frustrating for sure. I think there is "too" much talent on that team lol.. I mean fuck, I can't believe Pernambucano barely gets time on the field.

I also heard robinho was injured during practice. Do you know if he will be back for the next game?

I'm fucking disgusted to no end right now That had to be the shittiest display of Brazilian football I've seen in 12 years Perreira needs to die for fielding that shitty starting line-up They fucking deserved to lose that game, and lose it bad Every single player for Brazil was absolute crap. Adriano especially needs to fucking dieeeeeeeeee What a fucking Un-brazilian selfish ******. Rotten **** If Robinho is fit, and Perreira doesn't start him next game, I'm going to car bomb his house Abominable showing by Brazil

I don't know. I haven't heard anything but I don't think the injury is that serious. Hopefully he's back for next game. I want to see him start instead of Adriano for sure. Robinho terrorizes denfenses! This monster eats defensemen for breakfast!

I do find it funny how everyone is complaining about how shitty Brazil is playing, yet they're tied with Germany and Argentina for the most goals through 4 games (10 each), and they've only given up 1, as opposed to the other two countries that have given up 2. Spain could catch up with a few later today, though.

I think Brazil's one of those teams that doesn't play hard until they have to, and so far, they haven't had to.

If we win like that, I'd rather we not win at all. They played AWFUL football. Just awful. Ghana dominated the entire match, minus the first and last 5 minutes of the game. Everything in between for Brazil was complete rubbish. Their defense, in particular, was beyond crap. I could have furnished a living room in that space between Lucio and Juan. They got shredded. Their central defense is beyond weak, and if it wasn't for a combination of poor finishing on Ghana's part and some great goaltending from Dida, they would have lost the game fair and square.

And don't get me started about their offense. No flow, no rythm to their passing, no good build-ups, no ball domination, and worst of all, displays of selfishness. In particular, that Adriano missed break-away with Ronaldo to his left who was absolutely wide-open was an absolutely disgusting display. Roberto Carlos and Cafu were also guilty on somewhat similar displays, although those were less blatant. All in all, pathetic.

They need to change their line-up to what they had with Japan. Robinho is the most unselfish player on the team, and a perfect link-up between the mid-field and Ronaldo. If he's fit, he needs to start. Juninho also. And for the love of God, they need to shore up that defense, either by using Gilberto Silva in the back and benching Juan or Lucio (or both), or by changing their tactics in the back. But something definitely needs to be done.

They played absolute shit in those two games, but they even played worse today. That gives you an idea of how shitty they played today.

We don't care how many goals they score, or how many they let in, or what their record at the half is when they lead, and all the other superficial statistics that one can dig up and that don't reflect how shittily they played. I'm not worried about them winning. They always find ways to win. It's HOW they win. We want to see the beautiful display of football from '70 or '82. They have the players. They have the talent. They have the skills. They're simply not gelling as the beautiful team everyone wants and expects to see. We saw many glimpses of that in the game against Japan, but otherwise, we've seen shit. Anything less is unacceptable, considering the enormous potential they have with this team.
