On their lower end ones, hinges are an issue. Otherwise they're rad.

It seems as if the quality of Dells has really gone down in recent years from what Ive read.

I got a brand new inspiron in 2001 and havent had any issues with it and I find their customer service to be excellent even though I only needed their assistance twice over the 3 year warranty period.

Its a shame because I had my mind set on buying Dell now that I want to replace this one but I guess I need to have some second thoughts.

i got 4 free dell laptop replacement batteries.
just change the last couple numbers of the serial number of the battery.
