guys,,, please remember armin was doing an opening set sort of,,, he couldn`t just play 'trance' right from start. ffs
for some reason i still dont care one bit that i missed this. i think im getting too old for this kiddy shit.
dropped in for the to-do and could've done with a 1AM arrival to avoid the pushing, kids, and not-thrilling music armin played early-on. happily surprised when he started laying down tracks that actually kept us dancing. lovely moment of mayhem when armin started signing, btw.
markus. GEEZUS, markus. you're a god-send. unbelievable. not sure which version, but another ID:
Ridgewalkers - Find
disappointed about the terrace, but upstairs was still out of control. solid work by everyone. special thanks to the upstairs VIP bouncer guys who let me sit down for awhile cause i couldn't feel my legs.
so torn when i had to leave. 8AM flight and back in dallas as of 945am. no sleep, bitchy boss, dead feet, and still bangin' in my brain. [dies.]
i'm the checkerboard wristband girl. more pics when i get home.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh just woke up, WOW, markus/armin/edgar/gerry/acosta, what a nite, only bad moment of the nite, just like amber sexual said, too many dam kids, but over then that, WHAT A NITE, I leave it at that
Aah, the sleepy eyes!
First some acknowledgements and/or compliments, and in no particular order:
1. Melissa "MellyMel". No one has been more easily identifiable in real life from his/her pics on web-forums. Okay, Dark Angel comes a close second. Nice meeting you both for the first time. And very nice of Melly to introduce me to a few more TAs whose name i will start recognising by next 4-5 meetings. Dark Angel - i remember seeing him at DJ Santana's party and he has definitely put on some weight (Oh Boy, don't kill me). Oh, and ClubGoddess has definitely grown taller by a couple of feets! Armin took notice
2. Weather gods. They threatened, they made you wish you weren't born but they decided to spare the additional agony. The Space-Shuttle launch didn't happen and at one one point, i suspected the drive to Club Space isn't gonna happen either. The decision to make the three-and-half hour drive from Kennedy Space Centre to Club space was made (and almost tossed out) on a flip of a coin. The annoying drizzle along the way only made me learn a few more cuss-words. But then again, it could've been worse.
3. Club Space Management. It was my first visit to the club (Club Space) and i can't decide what baffled me more - their location (and how ghettoish the location is) or their ability to attract the top-DJs despite their location.
4. Armin. Saw him for the first time and must say i am impressed. I think he played good music for as long as i was there. I left at 2:00 am or so (maybe a couple of tracks after "Control Freak"). I for one has no reasons to complaint. It was worth the 4.5 Hrs drive. He was interactive with the crowd, or atleast responsive. He even tried to turn the little lamp towards a few guys in the crowd. And i did like his "Headphones-off-mixing" stunt. He was "in the party" and not "away somewhere else" in his own world.
5. The girl who approached me with "I know you are from Tampa. I have seen you at the Amphitheatre". I am not sure if she is a TA but it makes one wonder if this is such a small world really. And Ma'm, Amphitheatre gets its crowd from Sarasota, Clearwater and St. Petes too, besides Tampa. But you are right about me being from Tampa
.
6. Dark Angel. For partying upto 8 am and still being able to post a review before one has gulped down his breakfast! I would've slept for 2 days and 3 nights after partying that hard.
It was a wonderful evening and i wish i could've stayed more than what i could. Considering that me and my friend were exhausted and fatigued even before we showed up at the event, i think we stayed on for lot longer than what we had expected. I really did want to see Markus Schulz and wish he had taken on from Armin at around 2:00. I also wanted to see what this whole Terrace party was all about. Well, there is always the other time.
It was a wonderful evening and i enjoyed my visit to Club Space. It was also good to see quite a few TAs.

Hey man, Great review, Sounds like it was a fun night last night, Sorry that I couldn't attend, Maybe next time Space has another event like this, I'll go, As long as the set times for a certain DJ are good enough for me to actually go to.
Not a very big Armin fan... but I was very pleased with his work last night. I think it was his 3rd or 4th track that was a remix of an eighties track with a guitar melody. Can anyone tell me what this track is?
And yes, Markus ruled. Can't wait to see him again.

Damn, quick-draw... thanks.
While I would agree I liked what Armin played later in his set more as it was harder, overall I thought both Armin and Markus threw down great sets.
I did not stop dancing from the time I arrived until the time I left, and had a great time. That is all that counts, and it really looked like everyone else was having a great time as well.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what a fucking NITE/MORING!
That was hands down the BEST nite I have EVER had at club Space! Armin was boring at the beginning then got a lot better but the show stealer, the fuking MAN of the nite was Markus Schulz!!!!!!!!!
yeah just like that!
Highlight of my nite was CIRCA (Main mix)...yeah M.S playing CIRCA?? Never expected that from him...I was wishing before I got there that at least Armin would play one of the two mixes & it ended up being the DJ I least expected! All the IDs have pretty much been mentioned so I'm not gonna bother
Markus has come soooooooooooooo far & is going anywhere but down...up up up! There was NO cheesy tracks to speak of AT ALL...not one, yeah that's fucking INSANE! His mixing was FLAWLESS & I mean completely, mixing TRANCE like he'd been doing it for 30 years & put top ranked DJs to SHAAAAAAAAAME!
Markus' set was the best set I have ever heard there...yeah he even beat PvD sets of the past because of no cheese & the ENERGY he had! wow fucking wow...I'm still crazy over here.
Upstairs Edgar & Gerry were ripping that shit apart! I mean you come from downstairs listening to trance to go upstairs & listening to some BANGING trance...the tag team set was awesome!! Their mixing was top key...Gerry WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW man I never thought would master that shit like that. Both were playing some sick techy tracks...I had such a blast it's going to be tough to top last nite.
I left like @ 7:45 & only the upstairs was going with very few people. Richard & Paullino were like the only ones left...Edgar told us he was about to leave so that was basically our que cuz they were about to close down if not I think I would have stayed lol.
Great seeing so many TAs & partying with them & glad I finally got to officially meet Neil
who was very cool!
I loved seeing DA go all crazy to Markus cuz he didn't like him much in the past!
Colleen I had missed you so it was great seeing you last nite.
Melly
you left meeee & throughout the ENTIRE nite everyone kept coming up & asking me "where's Mel"
I agree. Last night was dope!
Awesome Night
Well it was an awesome night for me, and I finally got a chance to meet some TA's. I met the DA, nfekted, elecmfrek, and Damon. It was really good meeting all you guys. As for Armin and Markus, they were amazing, really rocked that place. I had to leave early, but i still had a good time. Unfortunately I barely get to post due to a bad computer (which will soon be replaced with a reliable Mac, lol) but I would just like to say that it was nice partying with you people.
my ears are ringing in stereo hi definition
but everything else sounds like AM radio.
