Obviously a master copy

PLEASE

That person is blake. And from the other thread, this song isnt going to be passed around except for the few that have it. its not done nor signed nor mastered yet.

haha, great track! I keep going back in the seneca-set to listen to it again and again

Dane would probably find it mildly ironic

I think its a great track Blake, keep it up!

this is actually alright, bit of a novelty tune that I'll no doubt get sick of, but I'll probably rave my tits off the first few times I hear it

As one of the few folks who have been given the full version of this track a few weeks ago by Blake, I can say that this is probably one of the best tracks I've been playing this year.

I tend to play it around 128-129 BPM and every time I have played it out - not only have received a tremendously positive response but it is one of the very few tracks where people are actually pulling me away from the decks as soon as it gets done to ask me what it is. I lost count how many times I've been asked for a copy of this track

Blake, Seneca is right: just master it and don't mess around with it. It's spectacular the way it is

Nice

May add it to my myspace.

I've also found this to be my preferred range. I can't imagine it at 136 .. I might have to go try it out.

And yes Blake I'd leave it as is.

Posted by DJ NEMESIS on Jul-13-2006 05:36:

yes these types of tracks usually end up doing well.

The one thing that stuck out to me when I listened to it a few times was the vocal could use a bit more fx which would also make it smoother for the samples cutting in and out without seeming as abrupt. And yes I definitely like the idea someone mentioned about including those extra lines of his.
Quite confused how anyone would call this track electro though
The sounds are totally tech trance. The slower bpm of the track will make it digestible by a broader range of people though and people like a fun track in the clubs.

It's really cool how the start of the crowd response on the "beeeeeeep"-sound actually makes a new effect that works great.

I like what you did with the Dane mouth sound of the after-effects thingy there

but u gotta put in the part where he goes I JUST WANNA DANCE

and other stuff

FUCK CHICKS DUDE
I WANNA DANCE

and like the part where he talks about the volume, u should bring the gain down and then pop it back up

i dunno

blah blah blah

OK for others, the Dane Cook song starts ~31 mins...

It was absolutely terrific, well done mate...

Btw, I just noticed when he says "Oh shit... we're right in front of hte speakers..." well your sample has laughter / applause at teh end of it, you're probably aware of this, but I thought if it's possible you might want to filter it out...

Again, good job. Quality.

I love this song, its a cool idea. Is there anywhere I can find the full version?

Posted by ShaunLovesHouse on Aug-03-2006 20:16:

Hope to see a full version sometime soon, the stand-up was hilarious and the song is (as Iammesol said) begging for a house remix.
