Discipline... it's just a matter of discipline. Benfica players, in three games, have seen as much red cards as they saw two years ago, when they were champions, in the whole season. I confess that we had a bit of bad luck, Luiso and Katsouranis should have wrapped it up before injury time... but we didn't play hugely enough to overpower Paos.
And tuesday I don't think we played too bad... but we lost. And Santos saw what the supporters think of him...
... oh, and Anderson should spend some time on the bench (not yours, ours).
2 weeks ago: we had our second consecutive defeat, the first in the national league, losing 2-1 in Braga. A bad moment for the team. Great moment for Postiga though, who scored in that game, and also scored twice yesterday as we beat Martimo 3-0.
Highlights:
Next: key Champions League home game against Hamburg.
i'll let youtube do the talk, 10 minutes long highlights of the game:
how is it that the one thread on here thats supported by one person is the most in advanced(video highlights)
Great win for Porto yesterday was quite an entertaining match as well
Moraeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees
Anyone see that 'back-heeled lobbed shot' towards the angle from quaresma?
That was unbelievable, and from such as distance.

January transfer window news:
- our new signing is Lucas Mareque, an argentinian left-back coming from River. Does anyone here know anything about him?
- Diogo Valente has been loaned to Martimo and Ezequias to Beira-Mar. Both had very few playing time in the league. Also, Ricardo Costa is almost certain to be loaned to Olympique Marseille.
- Adriano is rumoured to be about to leave for Panathinaikos. He's been lately relegated to 3rd choice striker after Postiga and Moraes, and with Sokota fully recovered from yet another injury, Adriano could become 4th choice. On an unrelated note, I found him last night on a nightclub here in Madeira celebrating the new year.
The next league game is... 17th of January, since our league inexplicably stopped for an entire month.
There's a cup match before, the 7th of January, against Atltico, a lower league side.

So, Ricardo Costa doesn't go?
Today you could've played for 3 hours and you wouldn't even tie the game... and I don't think Quaresma's foul was a red card deserver.
It was a red card, but we got fucked by the ref anyway, there was a clear penalty on Postiga in the 1st half.
Oh well, shit happens.
Where is noiko?
Oh well... weird weekend, Benfica hitting everything but the goal, Sporting scoring 5 goals in 15 minutes... Oh, and, yeah, Porto got screwed again at home.

we're winning!
we're still winning at half-time!
good job, gonna wath the resume afterwards
hope quaresma shows some nice stuff again, that shot with his outside in the first leg was awesome
his goal was with the outside of the foot, but was just a tap-in, the rest of game Ashley Cole has pwned him most of the time.
