Great game between Boston College and Clemson today, and whats up with Troy almost upsetting FSU? damn so close...

+1 man that BC Clemson game was great. Fuck FSU this year BC will kill em

Unfortunately I agree with you.. Duke, Kent St, Northeastern, Southern Miss, Cincinnati..?

weak weak schedule, but GA Tech, Clemson and Miami should all be interesting games.

Unfortunately is it cuz im an ass or a jinx

But yes and GT, Clemson (with the Injuries) should be wins. Miami will be a test. I think you shut down Olsen the TE they have to go to their then weaker options. Other than that only a let down will fuck VT's year...

Posted by Mebot on Sep-10-2006 02:23:

It's unfortunate coz i'd like to see VT take on some credibility by facing worthy opponents, especially with a young inexperienced team this year.

but you're also an ass anyways I just envision a repeat of last year's ACC championship FSU vs VT again. and i don't like it.

Id take it man because if VT goes on a run here no matter what the opponent it will make that "in" in the inexperienced go away

Well I guess Ohio St truly deserved their #1 preseason ranking. They manhandled Texas with stellar offense.

Will we see they buckeyes in the championship game in January?

I certainly hope I think they are the best team in the Nation but I think someone in that competitve Big 10 will beat them once and the BCS will screw us all again out of a great game. *waits for Eddie's playoff rant*

I betted on Ohio St. , didnt care if Texas were at home, Texas having a young QB like that is a no no in early big games like this. I like Ohio States QB alot, and omg did u guys see that WR Gonzalez, great game, finally a latino WR to be proud about haha.

damn Troy St. came so close to beating FloridaSuckiestUniversity.I mean lol and at FSU stadium too

but anyways my playoff rant for this year...god damnit the BCS needs to go , I mean whats up with having two Fiesta Bowls this year lol. What a waste. The BowdenCrookedSystem will eventually feature an underserving team like FSU in the bowls like always, and I still dont get why people support these bowls by attending them in the 1st place, we as fans know that we'd rather have a playoff damnit. For once Id like to hear Ben in bowl season say "who cares about these games,Ima continue watching porn instead"I mean seriously wtf is up with the NCAA and school presidents, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

.
anyways ....Temple should be relegated
lol @ Syracuse.
da U beat a team that we shoudve played last week instead of FreeShoesUniversity.

You brought up relegation now this may be my footymad self but wouldnt it be kinda cool to see relegation and shit in D1 to D2. Some of those D2 Schools are pretty good and the whole concept would be cool. Like the worst team in each division gets replaced by the local best D2 school?

pretty much how it works in College if a team is consistently bad and so is the attendance, the confrence can kick them out and replace it with 1-AA school or etc.

So yeah why hasnt Temple been kicked out yet.

Yeah I know but it takes a long time I believe for that.

As for Temple I think it is a $$$ issue and they play in Lincoln Financial Field for christ sake. Who wouldnt want to play their they should be able to get some decent peeps

Posted by Eddie N MIAMI on Sep-10-2006 05:05:

hmm just realized Temple is independent now , the Big East did kick them out haha. Now they need to be kicked out of 1-A football.

Posted by InterMilan31 on Sep-10-2006 05:09:

taking a look at the matchups next week there are gonna be some classics I bet:

Miami vs Louisville
Michigan vs Notre Dame (I hate ND but damn they have a tough start)
Oklahoma vs Oregon
LSU vs Auburn
Florida vs Tennessee
Nebraska vs USC
Clemson vs FSU

playing at a big stadium wont help recruiting if people dont go,for example here we have Florida Atlantic Universitty who plays at Pro Player Stadium and theyre almost as bad as Temple in attendance and playing wise.Hell theyre both called the Owls too wtf. Only difference FAU was just promoted to 1-A status while Temple has been around forever and always with the same sorry shit.

wow im dedicating too much time 2night to the Temple Owls, hoot hoot

I know but I still think its kinda cool and a bit rediculous to let Temple players tear up the field before a Eagles game

Oregon vs. Oklahoma next weekend. Woo hoo! At home too so it's revenge time from last year's bowl game.

Oregon 27 - Oklahoma 17

I'm here to represent the Pac-10 and the west coast. Wayyyyy too much east coast bias in this thread.

lol, it's all about OSU so it seems now... ugh I hate them.

Anyways, I'm here to support ND (watch out... I've been supporting them for almost 10 years, so not a bandwagoner)

Next week vs. Michigan, if they can nail this one they might ride all the way undefeated for the USC match up. Let's just hope they don't choke and their D steps up.

Posted by Mebot on Sep-10-2006 23:08:

Notre Dame almost losing to GA Tech, then completely dominating Penn State.

hmm.. so the real question isn't whether ND is overrated or not.. i think the question is, why isn't GA Tech ranked higher than PSU?

and where's our bandwagon Penn State buddy from last year? you know the guy who came on to post at the end of the season when Penn & FSU were in the Orange Bowl? haha

Im a PSU fan but Discobiscuit is on another level.

Problem with PSU is their offense Morelli is not ready yet IMO but could be deadly next year. He will progress with time. PSU just needs to rely on its defense here in the opening weeks to win.

Posted by BryanWood on Sep-11-2006 17:56:

Most of the time I'm a UGA fan, but this year my pick is with Notre Dame. Particuarly after their 2-0 start but in my opinion they really haven't played anybody worth braging about.
