I think at this point the length of his absence is turning the whining that he never comes into aggravation towards him that he never comes. Eventually, people won't even want him to come back because he's (or his team or whatever) been snubbing Toronto for this long.

No I don't, but I find it hard to believe that he's been booked so solid for the past 2 years that there wasn't one night where he could spend in Toronto, meanwhile Ferry, Armin, and Tiesto have been here numerous times. And I don't believe for a second that any of those 3 DJs are any less busy than PVD.

Perhaps this is the problem, I'm pretty much indifferent toward PVD. Truth is I wouldn't see him if he came and I'm certainly not whinning that he hasn't played Toronto recently. I'm just plain miffed that so many of you are so desperate to see him when clearly he can't be bothered to play here. Additionally, I don't buy the "too busy" argument.... this is a large market and in very close proximity to other large markets which he frequents, it only makes good sence that one would cluster shows here with the other large markets in the same geographical area rather then playing smaller markets. The only reason one would do this is if one had some personal dislike of the area.

Well it happens. That's life
Seeing as you've got a sense of humour...shuddup or put in some affirmative action like a link for TOTA's to collectively post a request to come to Torana

Come on...I dare ya

Not at all, combine it with a combination of PVD's fee & his relationship with the club promoters around the area & as one lad stated he only deals with nights he's already played at & there lies the problem.

Can put a good wad of money on the fact its the promoters relationship with van dyk's agent/management

Very very true. I'm glad you were candid about that...cuz it needed to be said. Only not by me...not anymore.

I won't disagree with you there. I just think that after 2 years and you know you have fans here (not all travel around the world to see him) that you can at least stop whining about what clubs you will only play at and get your ass here. It isn't like Guv can't afford to book him and it isn't like he doesn't ever have one night free either hence the diva DJ comment.. lol
