2. I'm not insecure about trance at all. I enjoy trance, but I do enjoy MANY other genres of music...my second favorite actually being house.

3. Ferry is not my God! He is my favorite DJ

4. Spam my threads with "HERNAN FUCKIN' CATTANEO" all you want, I could really care less. It's not the end of the world.

It took me from the years 1996 - 2003 to FINALLY see the light!

My fave dj's back then included Oakenfold, Ferry, AVB, Tiesto, Marco V, PVD, Johan Gielen, Picotto... I used to think how BORING house/prog was!!

I say give her a couple more years, and she'll think back to this thread and think "damn, miss julia, TB, and the others were right... house is pretty damn good!"



p.s., not trying to personally attack ya lisa... i'm just bored at work too!

I don't think you're attacking me at all But I dunno if I'll see the light that you saw. I've always liked a very diverse type of music and probably always will.

I don't think house/prog is boring...I'm definatly open to new things. Like I had mentioned before, I quite enjoy house - it being my second favorite type of music. I'm not trying to say trance is better than house, or house is better than trance. I like it all!

Ferry is simply my favorite DJ. I'm sure at some point in my life, that will change, as do most people's favorite DJs. He himself is diverse in the type of music he plays, and is definatly going through a transition period himself. He's no long hands in the air, super uplifting trance all the time anymore.

Oh yes. I made the rock -> euro -> trance -> house venture. Who hasn't and who won't?

The ironic part is that I used to dislike all the succeeding genres. I remember when my brother used to listen to trance, I didn't like it. Then I moved to trance and he moved to house, and I didn't like house. Now it's all about house... what's next?

Armins going through that phase as well. I think a major reason for that is that the trance genre itself is undergoing a change. Hardly ne more epic anthems.
