apparently the MI5 knew about this 2 weeks ago....

2 houses are being held off outside of london, which are beleived to have something to do with this.

They were probably waiting for the plan to unfold...and thus under high alert.

They declined to comment about that at the press conference this morning, but all the news reports said that the attack was averted at the 90th minute...so really we don't know.

Second of all, just b/c the Canadian government allows certain things to be done, such as immigration, does it mean that 100% of the population agree with what is being done? No. Because that would mean that everyone votes for the same party, there would be no split votes.

First, my sincere thoughts and prayers to those who are trying to get home from Heathrow. I too would be worried out of mind if I knew someone (i.e. family and friends) was travelling to or from there today.

AC-Milan, I don't think you would be laughing at all or would be all sarcastic about this situation if any of your loved ones were trying to get home safely from Heathrow. We really do not appreciate the posts you have decided to put in this thread. Yes, you are entitled to your opinion, but this thread was not intended for such remarks.

I really do hope the TAs and your family, MK gets home or to their destination safely.
