A review ?

I officialy hate Tiesto crowds ! Why ?? Well maybe it was that fat idiot screamin TIII - ESSS - TOOO !! in my ear for 2 straight hours. Or maybe those people "moshing" in front of the DJ booth. Or the guy telling me how much he lovesssss Tiesto's production work.. you know, that song, the one that goes ... dah dah dahdahdahdahdah (referring to F643) - Pathetic.

At least I was there with good people...thanx guys (you know who u are). The music selection was OK. Could have been better, but could have been worst. Tiesto had me jumping at times and had me leaning against a pillar at others. As for Dragonfly, it was my first time there...it's a beautiful club, in an amazing part of the city..i like the ceiling lights.. and the fact that the booth is ground level, which gives me a better chance to see the performer up close, the line-up was SUPER FAST, and their was no bullshit with the tickets.. so it does have it's pros. The sound system on the other hand wasn't very loud, the bar service was rather slow and the crowd was absolutely un-tolerable (pushy, sweaty, annoying)

As for Tiesto...seemed to me (just an opinion) that he was fucked right up. High as hell... Now say what you will, but i've seen people pretty messed up, and let me tell you I dont think he was all there. And to quote from Lot2005's previous post... 2 girls we went there with were infact asked that... "Show me your tits, and suck my cock" for a picture. Can you be a bigger piece of shit ?

We left at 5:30 ? got home at around 6:45 ? And i wanted to go to sleep... after 3 nights of clubbing. I had a shit load of friends over, that are finally leaving after being here for 4 days straight. I need to relax, calm down.. and prepare to move on Thursday, and fly to Vancouver on Friday.

I couldn't agree more ... Tiesto didn't do anything for me, on the contrary, seeing his long fucked up face throughout the night, not one smile, not one hit of excitement from him, no connection between him and the crowed, made me want to leave at some point ... thank god for the good friends and company whom made it all worthy and as always, a good night after all. Mark Oliver spinning his ussual dose of Marco V - Red Blue Purple and Tiesto dropping Lethal Industry made my night in terms of music ... Officially shitting on all Tiesto gigs and his overpriced tickets from now on!! POOP ON HIM!!

Mo's opening set i cant comment on cuz i cudnt hear the music. the volume was so low. heard ppl ordering their drinks from the back bar rather than music. on the second hand he absolutly fawking destroyed me with his closing set. Agnelli and Nelson - Shivvers ... Super 8 Dj Tab - Helsinki Scorchin OMG !!! Nalin and Kane - Open Your Eyes just awesome

That is a fuck of a lot of money though and I really do hate the crowds that he brings out. After last night I have decided that I am done with seeing Tiesto in Canada now. I only want to see him play one more place and that would be in Holland, since it is afterall home for him.

Actually, for many DJs it is much different for them in Europe then in North America. The style of music and the track selection is different....tracks we haven't even heard of are being spun in Europe and in some cases we won't hear them for years to come also Commercial Success DJs is a north american thing. They typically bring out people who don't participate in the scene on a regular basis and wouldn't know a DJ unless they hear his/her name on the radio. I've always noticed the crowds at Commercial Success DJ events is sketchier then say a MO solo night at guv....or heck....any night at The Zone.

Could be, could have been just your experience, but i for one know that i'm over and done with Tiesto, so i'd like to welcome more people to the Fuck Tiesto Fan Club!

I don't get what you're trying to get at here at all. It seems like you have some beef with him just because he is rich and famous.

You had to know how to make something marketable in any business including the music industry, but Tiesto has gone out of his way like no other to that and i do not know any electronic music artists who charges half the price tiesto asks for his tickets! there's such a difference in his production work when compared to other dj's and i honestly don't think that AVB and Tiesto can go in the same sentence espcially after the experience my friends went through last night.

by no means i am disrespecting your opinon or thoughts of last night. i am sorry you did not get what you were expecting from the night but dont you think thats a bit harsh?

everything put aside this is after all a person who has done countless things for our scene. we all have different views and prespectives on things we see and hear at a club but i am sure you will agree that generally speaking Tiesto is one of the hard hitters in EDM. couple of years ago when Tiesto used to jump up and down the speakers and throw his headphones into the crowd and play 2 or 3 encore tracks and what not everybody and their mother bashed him for doing it and said cant he just stand in dj booth and play tunes. now that he is doing that we are starting to hear the other end of the bandwagon lolz.

by the way from what i saw myself yes for the most part of the night he stood in the dj booth and just played tunes and looked a bit *rough* but also he had great crowd intereaction where it was due. during sean tyas - lift i saw him with his hands up and looking on the dance floor with huge grin and then also during Traffic and Artic Globe and Let The Light Shine In he was really into it.

as for the crowd lolz ....did you guys really expect anything different ? for the earlier part of the night i was at the back and had tons of room to dance and move around and around 2ish i went up front and found room there to dance no problem. a bit hot yes but nonetheless there was room to dance and go nuts
