Yes, although it's possible to argue that the ratio of munted to drunk is greater in the hard dance clubs than your standard house-playing venue

[removed for peace-keeping purposes]

I love good hard music, and used to go out every friday to Kandy and everything, hard music was the business back then, full of colour, life and energy and good people. now its just utter-gutter trash, i still play hard on occasion but only with crews like Transcendence, Igniht, Freefall, Phat Camel and a bunch of others.

Ice.
Crazy angry fvucked up people want to dance to crazy angry fvcked up music. Too many of the clubs playing harder genres have been overrun by scary meth heads.

It's an evil, evil thing. I don't understand why people start doing it?

There's a number of illicit substances I'm quite partial to, but ice is seriously of the devil. I'm quite happy to give up my right to take pseudoephedrine when I have a cold, if it will make it harder to manufacture this shit.

Posted by MiSSyM on Aug-17-2006 02:59:

YES, I AGREE ICE & G DOES LURK ABOUT THE HARDER SCENE, HOWEVER ITS PREVALENT IN ALL GENRES......I REALLY WISH IT WASNT IN THE SCENE, AS IVE SEEN SOME REAL FUKT UP SHIT HAPPEN TO SOME PEOPLE BCOZ OF IT!

BLAH BLAH TOO MANY GENERALISATIONS.........

PEOPLE THAT THINK YOU MUST BE ON DRUGS TO LIKE THE HARDER MUSIC ARE IGNORANT, UNEDUCATED FOOLS!

IM SURE THERE ARE SOME TA'S WHO LIKE THEIR METH & G........OH AND THEY DONT LIKE THE HARD MUSIC TOO!

I'm not sure if it will change supply levels long term, imports from SE Asia will probably replace the domestic product - a side effect (no pun intended) of this is that prices may fall as well.

Anyway...

Posted by deceptikon on Aug-17-2006 03:18:

Saddens me to see most of the scene go up shit creek without a paddle.

^^^^
your a wanker phd are acutally making an effort believe it or not to cut down on g heads.

patrons get fully searched for any plungers upon entry and if found with one are banned.

small but positive initiative

Posted by chubbs on Aug-17-2006 06:53:

Yeah I've seen people have their arses carted the fuck out of there quick as when they found with juice/plungers at all. lol one dude got banned for smoking a joint in there the other week actually.

Posted by MiSSyM on Aug-17-2006 07:07:

really........yeh its fukt up how ages ago some munted girl went to drink out of a bottle of water in her mates car, but it was G & she died

I dunno when I went there, I didnt feel 100% safe.
Didnt have proper security there couldve easily broken out a big punch on & I hate fights, seen too many of them.

Posted by Fpcookie on Aug-17-2006 07:26:

chubbs knows the score.
if u cant tell the difference btw hardstyle and hard trance theres something wrong with you. its funny that some ignorant tossers continuously bag out other genres yet they dont even know what those genres even sound like.
haha hard dance = nick skitz? hahahahahaha
deeman theres cheese in any genre. just as much in melodic/uplifting/prog/whatever trance as in hard trance.

I agree with you, cheesiness is apparent across every genre. I also said Hard Trance had it's moments. Each to their own I guess. If you like it enjoy it to the fullest. I just find a minority of people into 'Hard' anything go for the music and majority are munted G / coke heads that ruin the scene for everybody. I'm more than happy to be proven wrong though!
