Maybe Nono should retire for good?

I just heard a snippet of this on Juno. I like the break, really typical Rank 1 strings, but the bassline just doesn't do it for me.

don't even pay any attention to negativity, the wolves jump on anything, especially sites like this. Half the people don't even know how to mix a tune, or operate reason or cubase etc..

top gear was wicked, techy as fuck, proper.

this tune is good too, most people love it, its just that whole electro/dirty house sound is going to take one of the worst dives in the electronic music sound/trend history.

Yes, that's right because none of us can produce we can't comment or state our opinions on artist's work. I guess you shouldn't rate movies either because you can't produce or direct a film.

TBH, I'm tired of this generic fan boy arguement always thrown in when their gods get any critism. I guess it's time for you to go back to the drawing board for more rational arguements.

OHH YES!!! GIVE ME ATTENTION!!!
That's all it's about, just attention...
If anything you're the one asking for attention, sucking up to a producer on a forum.

Please don't take anything said on these forums to heart. Comments like that are childish... like most of the forum anyway.
But seriously, just because a couple of people (including myself) don't like your latest track, doesn't mean we don't respect you for your previous work. Please keep producing.

Boy that sounded like a suck up LOL

If you release tracks, you can't expect everybody to like it.
That's obvious off course.
I don't mind people express their negative feelings about tracks either, it's a free world and everybody should!
No need to be positive all the time.

But I feel a lot of tracks are judged by different criteria than it was made for. You can't expect hardstyle to be subtle, or expect chill out to sound massive or pounding.
It's like blaming a race car not to operate well on an off road track

Secondly, the way one puts it makes a great difference.
I have seen lot's of things said about us that go beyond the opinion of music. I wonder if such guys would say those same things to me in a face to face conversation as well.
If they would, they are ignorant or frustrated obviously.

Of course I know I should not take it by heart, but to be honest if I read such things I really don't feel like making music that day, or even days after.
I really hope that more people try to think what their posts can do to other people.

ow nice post here.

I haven't heard the track, i don't like trance anymore nowdays and I am 90% sure I won't like that track. But Benno you have produced my all time fav trance track, The Quest - C Sharp, so you have my respect for that.

I think basically that you guys shouldn't care much about the people who comments like that. The people who usually comments like that is probably used to hear those old Rank-1 productions. You're trying something new now, and it isn't always easy to satisfy them.

Also, People who comments like that is basically stupid and doesn't really have much respect for producers. It's so much easier both for you guys, and for everyone else if they comment properly on your productions, so perhaps you can improve yourselves.

You guys shouldn't stop producing because it's quite obvious that you've still got fans (Even though I don't like your latest productions at all). But still, there are people who respects your work.

It's cool to critize someone's stuff, but post something plain and shit like "You guys suck, go retire!", Isn't really helping anyone out ..

Keep on producing!

well personally i really loved the song, im a big fan of both!

When I see the names Rank 1 and Alex M.O.R.P.H. I expect a huge uplifting ch00n but instead we got a dirty electro housish track with some nice breakdowns in it.
Not bad but I'm just a little disappointed from what I've expected.
