Your kick doesn't sound too good too on my awesome speakers. It doesn't sound bad necessarily, but it needs better bottom end and less obnoxious top-end, and it sounds just *slightly* reverby.

Anyway... I really enjoyed listening to this track. You did a really good job, and I'll be adding this to my collection.

fuckin ch000n! good track.

YES! You finally released a full version of this tune. PUre inspiration...

+ The bassline is very addictive.
+ The breakdown is beauty incarnate.
+ The pads make me think of sailing over the clouds. Very ethereal.
+ The kick I like... may be thunkish, but I like it.
+ The clap really fizzes nicely.
+ Phaser effects were well polished.

- Places in the middle seem to become just a tad flat.
- The second breakdown doesn't really improve upon what was already there. BUt I'm not sure what you could add to keep the vibe from being thwarted.
- The highhats didn't seem to be in their ideal places, but I could be wrong (since I am LOUSY with highhats).

THis is another proof that supersaws aren't the true definition of trance, peeps. Take notes, ladies and gentlemen!

Would give a full, critical review but all the points I wanted to cover have been covered by others. Maybe one thing that stuck out to me more than some people is that the track is very 'full' sounding. Maybe, just maybe you could tighten up the sounds a bit to make sure they don't bleed together too much. Then again, it could just be my headphones deceiving me.

That said, I usually hate uplifting trance but this is superbly done: kicks the crap out of most of what passes for epic "trance". Then again, the quality of this track isn't surprising given what you did with "Bongladesh" . Good work and get this baby signed PLEASE.

Hi mate,

Laptop has gone in for repair so unable to give you the news over MSN:

Aly and Fila played your track on this radio broadcast:

Aly and Fila - Ecstatic Music Exclusive Guest Mix (Afterhours.FM)-21-10-SBD-2006

Congrats!!

Ace tune, just roll off the extreme Highs. they are killing my ears.

Wow! the second breakdown has just came in! First time in ages my spine has tingled from Trance.

awsome production keep it up

Posted by Freesoup on Oct-27-2006 16:03:

Its not bad at all this

Breaks down to fast though, an theres no need at all for it to be nearly 10 mins long. Could quite easily be 7 tops.

Top nice! The break is really something!

Great work!

Hello

First of all, your not the first one who have used this particular LOTR sample (Evenstar from LOTR: Two towers). There is a norwegian guy called Ryan (here on tranceaddict as well) who "remixed" Evenstar. I also made my own version, but with only the vocals with a progressive/breaks beat..

but back to your track

Its quite nice trance. A bit standard imo. My opinion is that you could get more out of it. Deeper bass (sub), low eq on percs and stuff. But overall its a nice production.

Great tune.
I will be playing it on radio.

Posted by Eldritch on Jan-02-2007 02:57:

I LOVE the filtered bassline in the intro.
Good atmospheric pads, gives it a dreamy feeling.
Only negative point is the ear piercing high frequencies of some of the the fx/synths. They're really hurting my ears.
Excellent track overall.

Excellent stuff Ricky, really enjoying it. Breakdown was especially nice. I love those light sweeping twinkley pads you use, they add a lot of atmosphere and compliment the high melodies nicely.

My only complaint (even if it is a slight one) is that the clap could have been a bit more snappy. I feel it would have been more present in the mix that way.

Overall, excellent work though. Thanks for sharing.

Hey up mate, been a while

Loved your track Uzi and that Yahel remix you did, so when TonY pointed this one out to me I figured it'd be rude not to check it out.

Great stuff mate! In fact I'll probably give it a spin on the show today

Keep up the great work

Posted by david.michael on Jan-05-2007 17:40:

My thoughts:

I probably would have turned down the clap just a PINCH, and added a tad of reverb to trail it.

Excellent layering, these melodies are great! Bassline sounds fine. Kick is nice as well.

Wow, these breaks are incredible. Vocals are perfect! Pads and upper freq's (white noise) sound great! Can't really think of anything else to say. You totally mastered the use of pads, FX, and vocals in this one. Excellent mixing and arrangement. Totally impressed. Pro quality. I love it!

If you have a moment, I'd appreciate your comments on my latest track as well. It's a different style than this though. Thanks!
