Thanks for all the good words, but I got bad news folks... see RJ's boat thread (not for the faint-hearted). I'm not doing well right now, and my weekend might be ruined

it's already happened.
Going to a concert or special event and seeing half the people in front of you trying to record footage with their cellphones.
lame!

Posted by Owen M on Aug-30-2006 06:44:

the sound of electro house and the sound of bands like Rage against the machine/ incubus / chilli peppers / and 90's grunge music /heavy distorted gutairs all puy into a carbonated bottle of pop...shakken up and sprayed everywhere.

it's ether gonna be really fun or a fucking disterous mess.

You are so right. It seems people are now more concerned with capturing memories than actually making them.

So not fair.

But it's actually true. "Google" started showing up in dictionaries, and as we all know, it meant to use a search engine (or something along those lines). The word was/is starting to become a part of everday language, almost replacing "search engine" or "use a search engine". And the law (American) says that you cannot copyright any words that are part of everyday language! Google was in a bit of a bind: if the word were to be used everday they'd lose their right to use it Of course, they saved themselves (of course they did, they're Google) by suing the dictionary companies.

The moral of this useless story that I've wasted everyone's time with ... "I concur" cannot be copyrighted.

I definatly love pictures, and snap quite a lot of them. We only exist at shutter speed...

However, that being said, I don't waste my nights taking picture after picture after picture. I also like to enjoy my time and make memories as you say. I just like taking pictures b/c it's always nice to have a picture to complete the memories.
