well this means that benny benassi will be playing in the guv b4 3.... which is not really much of a surprise to n e one... but now at least we know that he wont be splitting up digween and hernan... which is good news, to me at least
my guess for the guv's set times are
Brad Copeland 9-11
Luke Fair 11-1
Benny Benassi 1-2.30
John Digweed 2.30-4.30
Hernan Cattaneo 4.30-close
well not that exactly but something along those lines...

yeah the fact that armin/ferry are spinning in montreal on the same night really confuses me! I dont think there is n e quick way for them to get back and forth.... well besides flying out from the islands airport.... which actually makes a lot of sense, hahaha, well thats probably what they are doing..... so i guess its not that difficult... have a 'private' jet waiting for them..... only should spend like an hour in the air maybe... probably a little less, i've never flown between the 2 cities b4

45 mins....i stayed in the check in line longer than i was actually in the air last time i flew to montreal. i hate driving

yeah i always thought there was no way that armin would be able to get from toronto to montreal in less than 3 hours given driving times to and from the airport.... and waiting in line once he got to the airport, but i guess a private jet at the islands would solve all those problems

not a chance.... and if for some really odd reason that is the case than that would really suck.....
Posted by vendetta999 on Aug-31-2006 03:31:
consider labour of love a big giant FLOP if that happened
Posted by teufel-man on Aug-31-2006 03:53:
yeah who knows though..... i think we all might be pleasantly surprised by his set.... but yeah i still wouldnt want him to close

Just got word from Charles himself. Ferry will spin in the KH from open until close...the rest of the complex will broadcast his set. The other DJs got cancelled.

as long as i can see at least one hour of hooligan, digweed and close the night with addy i odnt care.
addy's set at freedom was one of the rawest (if thats a word) sets, i've ever heard in my life, i could not believe my ears. last time i saw diggers live its was pure progressive goodnes (the dark, choppy, kinda breaky kind). and hooligan is hooligan, nuff said.
one hour of each of 'em and im good.

You tell me what DJ plays solely his own productions.
Not to mention Ferry is responsible for quite a handful of productions under his name, many other aliases alone & with other people, as well as a handful of remixes.

Labour of Love is cancelled so all bets are off.

Obviously no one but ferry does have a reputation for his own productions accounting for a large part of his sets at times ...not that his songs are bad but it does get a bit annoying at times
that said, when he avoids that route hes really good

I would be surprised if he did but would love if he did. If he spins early then there will be the "commercial" crowd who will pack the place beyong belief. If he spins late then there will be plenty of room to move. Benny B is one of two reasons I am going to this...the other reason has nothing to do with any DJs.

Are you sure about this? Addy's playing at Comfort, and his usual slot there is from 6am-9am...

True....
But I have no problems if he plays all his new tracks during his set...even if he plays them more than once
Ferry Corsten - Beautiful, Prison Break Theme, Lost Cities etc...these would all sound amazing...
+ they are so much better than his older stuff like Right of Way etc....
Looking forward to seeing this guy...
