hey Mike love your stuff!! everytime i hear love theme dusk (herd it twice in guvernment) i loose my mind, its so flowing melodic and uplifting, perfect trance. This TAWT guestmix is banging too, u would rip it up live! if u play at guvernment it would be aweasome, viva would be good too. May be some smaller venues in toronto, like footwork. I wouldnt go with purple room its way too small, and i like when theres space to dance :P
There are tons of producers/DJ's I'd love to see here. But since places like GUV and TIL have become to big already for these guys, unless it's an Armin, Coxx, or Ferry then all these DJ's will have to get in line.
There are quite a few trance DJ's with some exclusive skill out there that are dying to play here. I even had the chance to exchange some emails with Sean Tyas and he told me he really REALLY wants to play Toronto more than anything. He considers Toronto the trance capital of North America. After checking out a few scenes across this great continent of ours I can agree with that, we appricate it the most. The scene is doing a lot better than I thought it was here.

| Originally posted by pete242 Plus we seem to be somewhat of a more friendly crowd. I was at Monster Massive in L.A last weekend for a killer line up. I even heard there were a few TOTA's there. Markuz/Armin/Jules/PVD.....you would think it would be good right? wrong! most of the people that got into this thing had no idea what the hell it was or what was being played, really ruined the vibe more than anything. No connection. Only reason I went was PVD and that pretty much saved the night for me. All I could think to myself was, people in L.A don't know how to party, I just wanted to get back here and beg PVD's manager to let me take him with me for one event here! why won't he play here???? |
we get every single other dj in this world to play here so w/e. Friday night i met a group of 10 americans who frequently come to Toronto and S. Ontario for our elektro parties, and they were telling me how they've been all over the US, including Vegas and Miami and NYC (they are from Buffalo, kool kids lol) and nothing comes even close to Toronto, and them as well, mentioned how friendly canadian crowds :-) made me happy lol they were having a blast :-) this was @ TIL btw, Sander Kleinenberg!
