Like anyone here doesnt know how to use google and find what they are looking for anyways. Why dont you filter out curse words and porn sites while your at it?

EDIT: im not even going to go there.

What ever, I'll never bring it up again. I shall obey your "filters"

I'm very much aware of the existence of google and torrent sites, it's nothing new - simply the best system to date to handle mass file distribution (with the likes of edonkey left in the dust). I have no problem with them - what I do have a problem with is a site whose whole premise/infrastructure supports the open/wide distribution of copyright albums and singles. What is difficult to understand about that? Those are the kinds of sites that vilify MP3 and then when I'm talking with industry people it causes them stress to know that their material is being distributed like that - it really becomes tiresome defending MP3s all the time. It's one thing to have the odd item spread around via a random torrent site/network, it's a whole other to have a centralized location to make it's distribution easier and to have a donation system tied into what kind of status you have on such a system.

You're new here so obviously you don't understand how free a community TA is overall - but - there are a few things that cross that line - and that most definitely is one of them.

I see your point, and Im not going to argue it, because you are obviously very strong opinionated on the subject.

But let me leave you with a fact, that I myself have thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars worth of vinyl when all that time I could have just been spending it on blank CD's, and I also purchase A LOT of music online every week. Even though I download a TONE from torrent sites, I'll buy the whole album online if I like it enough and 99% of what I download gets deleted because its not good enough to keep because of lack of space and the vast amounts of new torrents comming up daily. Call it another form of record shopping if you will, kind of like sampling this weeks tracks at the record store before you buy. And for the most part, the music on the site is shit. The REALLY good music is never to be found, and I always end up buying what I spin for the most part in one way or another in the end.

I cant speak for everyone who is a member of that site, but most of us in the private section of that site, feel and act the same. So there are not all leechers in that community. My buddy GLADLY deletes torrents which are requested for removal every week by various lables and artists. So hes not entirely the Devil as some deem him to be.

The last thing I want is a pissing match, I respect your opinion and veiws, even though we might not see eye to eye on some details of the subject, so I'll never bring it up again.

Sorry for the off topic, now back to regularly scheduled programming.

Not argued, more like gave my point of veiw while agreeing with him. I have the idea now he has this impression of me because of my rebutle about the filter, and just wanted to clearify my intentions and veiws on the subject. Nothing more. I concurr with Swampers rules and ideals while I enjoy my stay here on TA. Im not arguing.

I've never figured that out. Why do girls find guys who can cook sexy?

Maybe not so much sexy...it has more of a romantic feeling to it. Knowing that your man can cook for you is nice, it's sweet.

It has nothing to do with sexy, girls like cause it basically tells them that if she dates this guy, she won't ever have to cook for his ass.

Translation: Knowing that your man can cook for you means less of a chance that you'll have to cook for him for the rest of his life.

Not even. I love to cook for people, that feeling that you've satisfied some one is awesome. Nothing wrong with a man cooking for his women.
