I enjoyed the track, but the vocals aren't clear enough, i could not understand the most of it, perhaps the setup of the hardware you use could be better, or perhaps also some software settings could imporve the vocals.

Thanks for sharing !

Yeah, youve right, we will check that. Thanks Synthirius!

Production is not bad, voice is sweet and 'atmospheric' but need a bit more of volume, I would work more on the drums area and add some interesting loops, bass is very simple ( I like it like that ) but for this track would be good to make it more dynamic.
The synths are just amazing, but they could be much better, try to use some effect processors like a compressor, chorus, delay and reverb (all together), apply just a bit of each one, don't overload them; then try to use the synths more along the song because this is going to be the main component along with the voice.
Strings, turn the volume down a bit and use an essemble effect and add very long high notes at some points.
Last thing, To make sure that everything have the right amount of volume turn the overall volume down to the minimum, once every thing is down is very easy to re-touch all volumes, start listening to the kick, then the bass, then the strings, voice and synths. If you get this right at low volume, it will sound much better when you turn it to a very loud point.
cheers

Posted by Flaus on Sep-25-2006 18:22:

yeah cool track keep on working I like especially the vocals which make me want to listen to it again and again

Posted by Akia on Sep-25-2006 18:27:

Thanks Flaus!

Posted by Klangzentrum on Sep-25-2006 21:10:

sounds cool so far...
vocals should be a bit louder...
some more noticeable delay on the last words of each pattern would sound good, imo...
the strings need some equalizing work, they sound a bit digital, compared to the rest of the track
i mostly enjoyed the breaks-parts...

with some more work this could turn out very good... keep it up!

Posted by sentinelproject on Sep-25-2006 21:33:

nice track, reminds me of "Another day"

spice up the vocal with some FX; chorus delay, and verb.

the break beat part could you a better kick, more boomy...

Posted by Akia on Sep-26-2006 16:52:

Thank you Klangzentrum! I think youve right about loader the vocal, especially the last part.

Thanks Sentinelproject, we will try that!

after reading the 1st few pages in the thread, i guess there ain't much more left for me to say. it's an overall good track, tho i don't quite like the progression. there's basically 2 ways how u work around vocal tracks; 1) the vox is driving/melodic enough - any melody would work with it easily. e.g oceanlab-satellite 2) the vox is stale - needs a nice melody to drive the song. e.g. motorcycle-as the rush comes. so, if the vox is stale and the melody ain't catchy, the chances is pretty slim. as the rush comes has a cool bassline to drive the song and minimal lead synth but it does the job pretty well.

Posted by Beatflux on Oct-02-2006 17:29:

The vocals sound are too high and the melody isn't driving enough. The song remains in a perpetual state of 'ready to take off', but never doesn't melodically which is going to be really important.

Posted by Akia on Oct-02-2006 18:23:

Thank you LENG and Beatflux for your opinions!

We have tryied to have the vocals a bit lower but it was hard to hear the lyrics then, I actually want to loader it even more..

Posted by Subtle on Oct-02-2006 20:23:

listening:

breakbeat in the beginning.. nice.. bass and kick works good.. vocal seems a little low in the mix.. the overall mix sounds good.. but im sorry, i dont think the vocals does anything to the track, they sound drowned.. maybe u should sing the vocals longer, vocals as in A, E ,I, O, U, to make them more "tonal" if u see what i mean.

Posted by Akia on Oct-03-2006 01:02:

Thank you Subtle! Yeah, I see what you mean but Im not sure that would work, the tempo in the track is pretty high so I dont think there is space for that. But I will try!

Posted by Mr Rogers on Oct-03-2006 14:40:

sounds like the synth in the beginning is a tad to upfront...maybe bring it back a bit and some widening, nice kick ya that synth could definetly be warmer.
wow...u have an amazing voice.
this song doesn't do it any justice kuz i can't really hear it.
put ur voice where the synth is and bring back the synth to where ur voice is.
really like the bassline and the percussion work, voice is beautiful.
quite a bit of level issues but nothing that can't be fixed.
solid track

Posted by Akia on Oct-03-2006 22:24:

Thank you very mutch Mr Rogers! I agree with you about the synth, it gives a nice atmosphere but takes over a bit too mutch. Glad to hear you like my voice! I didnt think I could sing at all!

Posted by Sunclyder on Oct-04-2006 16:52:

Not bad

Overal is good but i don't like one synth at begging,

Keep it up

Greetings

Like said previously, nice track, nice vocals and really nice voice

I love the overall vibe of this track. Kick is fantastic in my opinion and so are the percs.

The break does the job well

Really like the melody in this track, very nice.

Overall good work and keep it up!

The track is really short for trance.
The kick is really booming. I had to turn my volume down.
Your singing is a bit false here and there.
Man this sounds really commercial and really not my style...
Sorry, I can't review this.

Omer

Thank you anyway for taking your time! Would like to now where Im singing false.
