Eventhough its a decent song..

Everywhere I go that Knarls Barkley - Crazy song is played...

I heard it twice at 10 year (SvD & DD both played it). Don't get me wrong, but i've heard that song wayyy to many times (due primarily to the radio and everywhere else I go)...

oh god, yeah...

some tunes, you don't hear for a while...and then when someone plays them, you smile and get all nostalgic.

this isn't one of those tunes. it is not a classic. it will never be a classic. it needs to die.

I was mildly suprised (and dismayed) that Piet pulled this one out in KH the other week.

You'll probably be the only one........I can't believe CarlCox played that when he came, he lost a little bit of respect with that one.

when a rogers phone (typically) is placed beside a speaker it makes the terrible noise and that is the song I am talking abotu that someone remixed it! it's so GHEY!

I was caught off guard when I heard that, I'm like...no way...thats not justin is it!?
The beat isn't to bad, but yeah. It's Justin. Enough Said...

Honestly, when Second Sun played Thunder Struck at 10th Anni, I was going to lose it. Worst freaking remix evarrrrr. Second Sun were absolutely aweful, and that is the last time I will ever see them.

soooo....i still find stuff being overplayed despite the fact that i don't fit any of your points.

I think you're just looking for holes in my hypothesis!

And if not, I wasn't talking to you!

oh no you didn't!

Born Slippy is a true classic...and came out before most people here were even listening to EDM or old enough to go to a club, I'll wager

having said that, classics should be played in moderation and at appropriate moments...any DJ playing that EVERY week is pretty short on material, lol.

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Oct-12-2006 05:08:

Ya, I don't hear it all that often either. Like once a year. I think the best version of that track was the Chris Liberator party at System where in the mddle of his banging acid techno set he just dropped that tune. Back then I didn't even know its title. I just knew it was a fucking awesome moment.
