england were so bad in the first half... second half was improvised but macedonia didnt get bogged down and did some slick attacks on their own ... rooney still hasnt found form but gerrard was absolutely horrible with all his crosses being overhit and his long distance shots going everywhere but the goal

mclarens such a chump .. all hes been trying to do are rectify mistakes the media identified erriksson as making such as playing beckham, the diamond formation and so on .. the guy has neither balls nor innovation so i hope he surprises me and plays the 3-5-2 against croatia

the only thing overrated about carrick is the transfer fee we paid for him which put him among the world class players who usually go for that fee .. he might not be a superstar yet but hes a very good player who passes the ball extremely well and is a competent candidate to fill the hole left by keane in uniteds midfield ...

I would'nt undervalue Alonso's goal, the keeper was playing at least 12 yards from the line to take away anything over the top. Yeah, he tripped, but alonso's vision and foot earned that score.

now, van persie is the bees knees and he's only getting better - that goal was incredible.
