great job jazz

Just heard it again from a Set-Rip.I am sure Jezper was inspired by the collab with his brother as the breakdown has that epic feeling of "First & Andre - Widescreen" .The difference is that One Tear Away is miles better than Widescreen even if it's in beta stage. Jezper please keep a back-up of this early version and release it with the Original version of the tune (if you can't release it on a vinyl, please release it in digital form). We've seen great tunes, that although they sounded great in their early stages, being altered/reworked to worst versions. So please back-up this version

Airbase is still one of the top producers on my list! One Tear Away is no exception, very well produced Jezper! I will be waiting on this one...

As for Jezper taking time off....Did we not see him come up with a new alias that many people have come to love....PARC?? I personally love this alias as it adds to every DJ set I play nowadays. Good choice Jezper..!

Just heard the sample! Phenomenal! Good job Jezper keep it up.

Waiting for it on beatport!

sometimes people forget that writing good music doesn't necessarily have to encompass breaking new grounds and finding new styles. alot of it has to do with actually writing the melodies. i think some listeners sometimes forget how difficult it is to actually write a good melody and they focus too much on the sounds the producer uses and whether it sounds formulaic or not.

This argument was used for Escape as well, and just like Escape... if anything, this track is more reason to call him cheesy and overrated.

Is this to say that he shouldn't criticize a song because he can't/doesn't produce/produce anything better? If so, why does this argument come up every time? It's always, always shot down by the fact that there's tons of things anyone says is "bad" on any given day yet they couldn't make anything better. Be it a movie you say sucked, but could you make one any better? Or a beer you say sucked, could you make any better.

This argument is so beyond tired I think it's comatose.

good point trancinchink

trancinchink, that's a good point about the melodies. I hear waaaaaaaaaaaay too many trance songs that are really well produced with unique sounds, but with lacking melodies. Perhaps those songs are really good for dance/club, but for listening I'll give them a pass.

I've just heard escape again and it's not half bad.
It's not half of what I expect from such a good producer though...
I'm tuning to Ionize right now

Big respect for Airbase ... keeps getting better and better. Don't know why he's not making more waves and $$$ around the world djing ... the top names in trance are consistantly playing all his stuff.

Posted by Belgian Bonzai on Oct-02-2006 20:23:

I have loads & loads & loads of respect for Airbase, out of the tens of tracks he has produced there are only maybe about 7 that didn't appeal to me and I regard his OneMix Trance (3rd December 2005) set as the best I know.

Posted by mto on Oct-04-2006 15:55:

Airbase, didn't you quit this shit man?

Posted by john2 on Oct-04-2006 16:13:

STFU and stay on topic, will ya?
