But anyway, even after almost two years since I had the stroke, I can still see that I'm not ABSOLUTELY FULLY restored. For example, I can't fiddle with a pencil the way I used to. Maybe I'm SLOOOOOWLY recovering from it though, I don't know... I don't care either really, lol.

Slylee, I agree with you that parents who do rape or beat the hell of their children don't deserve to share their life with them. But the thing is, even though they do this to them, the children still got love for their parents. How many times do you see a sexually abused victim that didn't say anything because she loved her father/mother and was afraid of the consequences the denonciation's going to bring?

My point is, you can't wish your own family to die the most horrible way possible. But no they are extremely angry and they are furious because of how their fathers acted which certainly indicates they would have wished for it to be different ( aka BETTER ).

Sadly, that is how it is in most cases. Most of the times when you are physically abused it leads to psychological problems. It all the depends on how tha person deals with it later on... Ive known several people that have been abused by their parents, and believe it or not they are very open about it, and from what I understand and oberved they have no major psychological problems, except for some cases they dont want other people to touch them, that is because of the physical abused they had. That is the only trauma, imo its a bs one compared to other psychological problems that can be worse.

But what I find the most interesting, is that they did acknowledge that their parents were fuked up, they tried to approach them later on in life, they expressed how they felt about them, and then tried to create an adult to adult relationship with them. Some were able to do that, others werent. But from my opinion that was very brave for them to do, once I asked them, after all that shyt that happened between you and your family why did you try to reach closer to them? Their response, I was thankful to see their fuk ups and so I wont commit that when Im a father.

As I said, it all depends on the person, and how he deals with it.
