good plumbers are so scarce in the uk that there is serious money to be made. We've got a guy in fitting a bathroom, sorting central heating & gas supplies out & It's costing well over $8000 for a weeks work in labour and a lot more in parts.

Maybe it's different here, but aside from the major contracting work that goes into building a house (I don't think "plumbers" deal with that anyway) most plumbing type stuff is solved with two very essential items. The Liquid Plumbr as posted above and of course...
