that's crazy.

ps, helicopter crashed off of florida coast too - you could see it underwater. not a good day for flying, apparently!

Wow, does anybody see any trace of a part where maybe an airplane could've crashed?

How come only 4 windows are on fire? I know there's a huge airport right by me in Albany, NY and when I go down there, the 4 seater airplanes are much bigger than 4 windows, and they also have wings.

whats really funny is whatever it was that crashed into the apartment building must of been tiny because alot of the windows in the surrounding floors are still intact, one would wonder such an impact and explosion at that would atleast break some within reasonable distance...

another thing to speculate about

they are suspecting the plane did not crash into the building head-on. Rather, it hit the building while it was plummeting to the ground. So it might have just hit sideways while having the noise pointed more toward the ground than at the building itself. In that case, it didn't have to produce an impact hole as wide as its wing-span.

But if it were a missle why would they target a residential building

I still think Kim Jong Il is on acid right now in NK and is clicking the Launch button on his missles.

Want to tell me where all that fire came from then?

yes. The plane most likely hit the building at an angle (as I had stated) but still managed the hit its fuel tank during the collision. Obviously, the jet fuel got the fire going, meanwhile whatever was left of the plane plummeted down to the ground - making for the debris that was found on ground.

exactly. don't get me wrong, it's a bad incident, but it's an accident. most of the big attacks since have been aimed in europe with spain & england having the worst two. If this was terrorists, they'd have done something bigger, no ?

Im still waiting for the nuke to go off.

Wait, do nukes go 200 miles?

Posted by simplcake on Oct-11-2006 20:23:

doesnt take an expert to know that when terrorist attack they make sure they take out more than 2 people

So then what sparked the fire? I know from watching a video of a jet crashing into 10 ft of pure concrete with no fuel, a plane wont just explode, It'll literally be made into dust. Pressure buildup doesn't light fuel on fire from what I know, but I dont know that much about jet fuel either. Do those airplanes even run on jet fuel?

any sort of spark in the fuel's vicinity will create a huge fireball - and there were likely many sparks going off from the collision of aircraft against brick wall. Plus any tiny shortcircuit in the plane during the collision could've caused this if it had made contact with the fuel.

just saw it on cnn, they got a video to it over there. Pretty sad, I hope there's only 2 fatalities and no more than that.
