My friends are pretty crazy and when the introduced it they said it was a shot, guess I didn't know any better

We do the whole sugar and water thing too, but down it like a shot. Guess we are just hard core here, or don't know any better. I was very, very sick through out the night and next day, so I don't recommend it!

I've never tried it, however, it's got 10mg of Thujone. That's about 1/3 of what the premium czech brands have. It's going to get you pissed pretty quick but you'll need to drink a substantial amount to have any significan hallucinogenic effects.... count on at least 12oz.

There's a French restaurant just to the right of Montana's (in the clubbing district) that serves it this way. They call it Van Gogh's Ear on the menu.

I tried it like this in slovakia. At first i really wanted to puke, but at the same time i felt high. The room was spinning and i was laughing incontrollably. But i knew if i did another shot i would puke for sure. It's a cool process, it looked like i was gonna do crack or heroin!

I never tried it but if you are in Vancouver, you can go to the Library Pub and they sell shots for $10!

I once grabbed a bottle at Duty Free in Paris for someone in DC. My new coworkers asked me to bring one back from this trip to Israel I'm on. Looking at the US prohibited items list from the wormwood society link, and my track record of getting searched by customs agents the past few years, I dont think I'll be bringing a bottle back with me...
http://www.wormwoodsociety.org/laws.html

I realize there are some things on that list that will just get confiscated if found, and others that you could get charged with a crime for bringing. Not sure how if Absinthe is one of those things that could land u in jail or not. Anyone? (remember, we're talking US customs here).

My understanding is that Absinthe is legal for personal consumption and possession in the US but not for sale. This is to say, you can legally import it provided that you do not distribute it for profit.
