For me, at the time of Nyana, trance had peaked after the epic 97-00 era. I love the majority of trakcs on the cd and always will but for me, when it first came out, it felt like nothing more then a liveset as Tiesto had canned a lot of these tracks for months prior to this release. I always enjoyed hearing a new cd and listening to some fresh new tracks, Nyana unforuntely didn't have many of these tracks. I do have to say this cd shits all over his last two cd releases which I don't even want to mention their names as they shouldn't be titled what they are....

| Originally posted by RebeL9 the mixing is really awful at times. for instance. the transition between Obsession (Frank Biazzi Remix) and Planisphere - Totem. the tracklist is decent. not something that would make me jump but tracks such as Totem and Acapulco are some of the better ones. |

I still listen to it every now and again, its the best compilation cd hes done imo. Tracklisting wise.
yeah, still listen to cd2 every week
beautiful things, atrc & nothing made this cd so special for me years ago,
what made this cd also special is the long break between this one an his next compilations..

Agreed, it's not original hence maybe a bit unimaginative. But I don't see it as being poorly produced and generic.
Wasn't Nyana essentially a remake of Subtle by Design - Sirius (DJ Tiesto Remix) ? I wanted to listen to the origianl of this track. But never could find it.
pretty good cd just makes the mood mixing is not that great tracklisting is pretty decent too.nothing like GTR - Mistral

I really liked Chutney (size 9) into Love Triangle.
Best Track WAS
Love Angel - The Gift
cd2 song 4
(ct)
Disc II to date is by far my favorite mix and probably won't ever be topped, because of the songs & memories associated to them.
Just like others said in this thread, it takes me back to summer of 2003 when I graduated from high school, met the love of my life, and just had the best times. I listen to tracks from Nyana everyday pretty much, and listen to the mix very often.
Catcher - Destiny Sunrise
Andain - Beautiful Things (Gabriel & Dreseden Remix)
Young Parisians - U Write The Rules (Solarstone Remix)
Holden & Thompson - Nothing (93 Returning Mix)
Mr. Sam vs. Fred Baker Present As One - Forever Waiting
Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes
The Roc Project feat. Tina Arena - Never (DJ Tiesto Remix vs. Filterheadz Remix)
Leama - Requiem For A Dream (Leama's Dream Mix)
P.O.S. - Remember (Summer Sun)
Solid Globe - North Pole
I love all these tracks. Even Disc I has some songs that I'm really into... Nyana, Venus, Let the Light Shine in, & much more.
