I respect your opinion however I don't agree with it.
Please give list your reasons behind your logic as to why Christopher Lawrence deserves a higher ranking then the legend known as Sasha!
They are both really good DJs doing completely different things, so its not really something you can compare, and this illustrates the idiocy of such a poll in the first place.
That said, publicity wise, Sasha should be above Lawrence.

The first time I ever heard anyone mention DJ Dan's name was the night Burridge opened Giant at Vanguard and DJ Dan was at Avalon. I had some generally pretty knowledgeable friends who went to Avalon and they are still talking about how great that night was. I know nothing of the guy but it does appear some people like him. I've been trying to find some sets to see what they were talking about.
I'm still suspect as to why they didn't go to Lee though.
Ive seen dj dan twice. he was ok.
spundae and san francisco

| Originally posted by Milus99 I agree it would be completly unfiar to compare the two. Allow me to illustrate. It would be like comparing an Aston Martin (Sasha) made in the UK to a whatever US car you want GMC, Chevy, Dodge, Ford (Christopher Lawrence) made in the USA. Some great TA once said DJ's are like cars...you get the picture! |

WOW
Wow we're stunned though PVD was for sure gonna lose the top spot. He doesn't even take pride in it, own that shit. DJ Dan wtf, he's good and all but how the hell did he beat out such pioneering trance influences like Above & Beyond, Sander Van Doorn, Ferry, Kyau & Albert, Mark Norman, Stoneface & Terminal, J00f we could go on & on. Armin put out endless releases under his many labels this year. Not to single him out but we were most surprised by that.
************ of all this voting bullshit it's about the music and one would hope people don't need something so silly & arbitrary as this to tell them who's good, who they should be listening to, hopefully they delve beyond these high priced DJs and explore all the other talent that dance music has to offer.
However...
Can't knock em' too much though they are doing a lot for dance music and getting the music out there to be heard by many...we like that trance is still underground, not so mainstream to where the average person wouldn't know, nor care who Tiesto is, yet he's like a celebrity in the EDM world. It's our secret that we have & only share with others who are dedicated to this music like we are.
