Woohoo!! At least your dice didn't go as bad as sunsnail's.

As far as positioning, this one's the middle of the 3 games for me, I'd say.

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Nov-02-2006 05:09:

yeah man, that trailer kicks arse! cant wait for the full optimized game. been hanging for this since last year... command and conquer, who???

Posted by occrider on Nov-02-2006 05:55:

Wow ... I got a solid ass kicking. Here's the game after round one:

Does anyone play axis and allies? I need 2 volunteers.

Edit: goddamn photobucket ... lemme see what I can do to fix that.

You exchange them for armies. 3 of a kind or 1 of each. You must exchange when you have 5 or more, otherwise you can hold them if you want, as the # of armies given out goes up incrementally as cards are exchanged.

Anyone remember those old tun based titles from the Generals series (Panzer, Allied, Pacific, Fantasy, Space). You could play those by email. I used to do it all the time then i got broadband and X-Wing vs TIE-fighter came out shortly after that so i completely forgot about all those strategy games

x v tie was crap. tie fighter remains the single best fight-orientated space game.

Yea my rolls have been shite for all my risk games ... so who else besides Fir3start3r wants to play axis&allies? Pkc?

Oops, I just realized we're playing with fixed card #s in this game, not incrementals, so you get 4 armies for artillery, 6 for infantry, 8 for cavalry, and 10 for one of each, which actually aren't the same as official Risk. I believe it's 4-infantry, 6-cavalry, 8-artillery in the board game.

Posted by Sunsnail on Nov-04-2006 15:31:

What does axis&allies involve? I'd be interested in pretty much anything
