lets hope they do a nice lil encore or something special (maybe finish with Xpanda or something).

Did they play any of the trance they were famous for around the Northern Exposure type days??????

any other track ids that we can expect to hear?

Posted by eRRaTiK on Nov-04-2006 03:33:

some very melodic prog played throughout the 5 hrs but no heaven scent, xpander, wavy gravy or anything like that. I guess you'll have to go up to the dj booth and make some requests!

1 hr digweed
1 hr sasha
1 hr digweed
1 hr sasha
1 hr sasha vs digweed

that's about normal when they're together. alternatively they do 2hrs each and then a b2b. i didn't enjoy that last hour tbh. the tired legs didn't help, and home was way too crowded for my liking. you couldn't even find a spot to sit down on the second level.

You better be re-charged in time for Mondee night!

Pussy's can stay home!

Awesome display of tension and release; soo many hectic build-ups. Sasha really pulled out some uplifting progressive gems. Finished off with that wicked track from his Global Gathering Essential Selection this year: Michael Mayer & Reinhard Voigt - Transparenza <3!

Posted by MiSSyM on Nov-04-2006 04:08:

did anyone see King Roc or Chris Lake?

Posted by **Xenon** on Nov-04-2006 04:11:

Chris Lake is playing a 3 hour set at Le Panic tomorrow night for those interested.

Yeah they only ended up playing roughly 3-4 min of the track instead of like 10 in the Essential Selection.

ah sounds like a good night

is melbourne their last stop? i wonder why

now that they have sydney out the way they can finish it off properly in melb

bring it home!

oh and Michael Mayer & Reinhard Voigt - Transparenza

Posted by pimp on Nov-04-2006 09:37:

I had an awesome time...
Great set and yeah Sasha opening up the 1st hour for digweed with:

11. Distant Voices (Angel Edit)- Lost Tribe

Just for the people old enough to remember the Northern exposure series =))

I was a happy camper.

Posted by waXology on Nov-04-2006 11:13:

they finished with "Kid Creme - The Game" not Transparenza

Posted by **Xenon** on Nov-04-2006 11:30:

Ahh yeah that's the track before eh?
quote:

Tracklisting
01. Gui Boratto - Like You (Supermayer Remix)
02. Joe T Vannelli ft Rochelle Fleming - Get It On (Joe T Vannelli Dubby Mix)
03. Kid Creme - The Game (Kid's Voodoo Instrumental Mix)
04. Michael Mayer & Reinhard Voigt - Transparenza
05. 16 Bit Lolitas - Dance & Fiction
06. Slacker - Corazon

I blame Ableton!

Posted by sLiCk_NiCk on Nov-04-2006 12:01:

Posted by **Xenon** on Nov-04-2006 12:11:

I thought Angel was actually Korbel's last track. That's why when it finished Sasha and Digweed started clapping Korbel and Korbel had to wait a while to get the cd out of the cdj.

Posted by waXology on Nov-04-2006 12:15:

they didn't play Kupon - Zoom In

was waiting for it!

Posted by sLiCk_NiCk on Nov-04-2006 12:57:

did they play

gus gus - mallflowers
martin h- tromb
plastik - plastik (alex doly remix)

Posted by tathi on Nov-04-2006 23:13:

yeh it was Korbel's last track.
I was stocked that they played that track anyways...

great night, even though it was sardines in there. I expected more from diggers, maybe I wanted something like his essential mix, I prefered sasha on the night even though the typical walk off attitude when he finised was bit lame. o wells, I was pretty much dead, was workin since 6am and no siesta!! errr but I managed to stay for the whole set.
Good to see everyone one having a blast.

Same man! Digweed dropped a track that had a similar bassline and i got all excited but it wasnt it

Posted by Blaise on Nov-05-2006 07:58:

What a night ay!!? afterparty awesome too

another few tracks i remember were

Daso - T. Anders ( i lost it haha fav track)

Sasha played two tunes in order off his triple j set
Claude Vonstroke - The Whistler (Audiofly Remix)
Acquaviva & Ltzenkirchen - No Fear (Ltzenkirchen Mix) ----- THIS IS A BOMB!!!

Dan from melbourne also id Trick & Kubric - Easy however it was a different remix/edit, so not too sure

and Pryda - Remember oh and
Moby - Go (Trentemoller remix) is a fkn destroyer! What a tune.
If i had to pick one over the over prob Sasha, he was just belting it. Digweed also in fine form tho.

everything else has pretty much been said. Also sasha is a bit of snob, no interaction, just seemed like another day at the office. And he looks strange when he is mixing or using his albeton. keeps blinking fast HAHA.

for me it was a top night! i just couldnt believe the music that i was hearing. totally awesome. hehe.

have fun melbournians

Posted by waXology on Nov-05-2006 08:43:

hahha oh yeah the blinking! we talked about that haha!

Theres nothing worse than seeing a dj not interacting with the crowd.
Thats balls!
